President Donald Trump pointed out that the latest Rasmussen poll shows his latest approval numbers are higher than Barack Obama’s poll numbers.
The latest Rasmussen presidential tracking poll has President Trump at 50% approval. This is despite the vicious non-stop attacks by the liberal mainstream media.
Barack Obama averaged 47.9% approval in the liberal Gallup polling.

And that rating is in the face of constant and unfounded negative press from virtually every media source in the country.
Imagine what his Approval would be if the DNC Media wasn’t hell bent on destroying his Administration and promoting a Coup with their Fake News stories.
I remember Ann Coulter opining many years ago that it’s a wonder that a Republican could get Elected Dog Catcher with todays Partisan Left Wing Media Coverage.
These approval ratings are curious things. The day before Pres. Trump’s 50% approval rating came out, I saw another poll giving him 38%. I’m inclined not to pay much attention to any poll right now. The closer we get to the November 6th Midterm Elections, the more significance some polls will have. Some, but not all.
Those figures are probably significant underestimates. Many people, for fear of retribution from The Left, are silent about their support for Trump.
And, of course, it is clear that The Left will do just about anything to marginalize Trump, including fudging the survey numbers.

Polls are normally pretty meaningless, but in this case, it serves as a much needed breath of fresh air to dispel the widely accepted MSM myth that Trump is a hugely unpopular president who won only by a fluke, and is therefore not legitimate.
A few more moderately favorable polls and perhaps they’ll be forced to drop some of their more hyperbolic challenges to his legitimacy.
50% is huge, if true. Much of those who are against Trump are concentrated in CA and NY. President Trump is probably in very good shape as far as the electoral college goes.
Lowballing it...just like in the days leading up to the election. His approval numbers are probably considerably higher.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump’s numbers are higher than Congress, the MSM, and universities’ leadership combined.
I think this poll is getting more attention because it’s by Rasmussen, and Rasmussen was the closest to actual numbers for the election. At least that’s what I’ve read.
Trump is a fighter and this family is behind him 100%.

You need to look for the sample -- just who is the pollster questioning?
This poll -- Rasmussen -- has a sample of likely voters.
Almost all of the others are polls of registered voters or just anyone who answers.
Trump does better among likely voters.
Take note cowardly republicans and support the President. Trump is our last shot. You all blow it and the future of your party is done. I know I’ll never bother to cast another vote for a loser republican.

They’re still using +16 Democrats for their polls after turn out at election day was +4.
