WHY couldn’t we drop some bombs on their missile sites?? How would they be able to retaliate then?

Well, for one thing (according to Obama and Kerry), it would make them really angry.

Well, they could lob tens of thousands of artillery shells into Seol, South Korea pretty quickly.

By making Seoul disappear?

An invasion of North Korea would probably end in a victory within a week. And then all you would have to do is bury a few hundred thousand South Koreans and then figure out how to integrate 25 million people who have essentially lived in a cave into the modern world.

Because they have lots of missile sites that are in hard cover and there’s 250,000 artillery tubes, rails, etc., in the North that can hit Seoul and lay waste to it. That’s the gun to South Korea’s head and why there’s never been a satisfactory conclusion to the war.

We don’t *have* 250,000 bombs to take them all out at once.

With 13,000 artillery sites.
