If the shooter was behind the fence above the grassy knoll, he would have been 100+ feet from Zapruder.
The frontal shot blew out the back of the skull. The claimed rear shot would have blown off his face.

I’m still early in the book( I’m on page 200), but I am bothered a bit by some errors in his time frames. Example: arrived at Parkland at 12:36, prounounced dead at 1:05. Yet he says that the Doctors worked on him for 42 minutes to try and save his life? After 20 years of meticulous research he gets the time frame wrong?

I’ve been there too and you’re right, it was not a rifle shot from the front right, but rather a pistol shot.
Anybody with common sense (and no hidden agenda, like Bugliosi or Posner), who’s studied the matter, gets that Oswald was a CIA-FBI stringer and a patsy for the real shooters, who were set up by a CIA/Mafia coalition.
Funny how the second Congressional Committee to investigate the JFK affair, ended up with numerous subpoenaed witnesses “mysteriously” being murdered days or even hours before they were to appear before the Committee. Just coincidence, I guess.....
Even a pistol shot would’ve shaken Zapruder. It’s just good luck he was there to eliminate any front firing.
And also the film show that it’s a rifle hit, not a pistol. A pistol shot from behind zapruder would’ve been a pretty tough shot, and would certainly not tear the skull apart as was shown.

historical truth is always relevant to the extent it can be known. locking documents away for 75 yrs only keeps the flame going. The kennedy assassination was the first time in our history IMO when the majority of americans said, I no longer trust the government. I believe the warren report stoked the fires of distrust that led to the viet nam demonstrations.
