I would say that countries have a choice over their destiny. Sweden has chosen the route of national suicide. Its not our job to relieve them of the consequences of that choice.
So I guess you would support Americans dying to defend Swedes, when they won’t take the measures necessary to defend themselves? That seems to be the opinion held by a minority of conservatives.

Poor Swedish fools ignored history only because the Saracens did not get that far north while they romped through the rest of Europe.
Swedish gun laws are now so strict that privately owned guns cannot be kept at home but only in centralized armories, to be checked out for a day’s hunt only.
Most gun owners in Sweden have said screw it and sold their guns to U.S. importers who scour the country buying them up.

At last we know why Chicago’s homicide level is so out of control: Gangs, not police control the streets. The gangs know it; the police know it; and now, thanks to DNAinfo.com/Chicago, we know it. A week ago, Chicago street gangs held a huge party in a park, with a thousand people attending, some brandishing firearms, terrifying neighbors for hours. The police sent 25 squad cars, yet were outnumbered and unable to really do anything.

Most politicians — especially those of the Left — would be perfectly happy to see three-quarters of their country reduced to a smoking landscape of ash and dust, as long as they get to keep their cushy jobs.
Not saying that a bunch of socialist Swedes won't have to die defending their socialism...but Swedes will still exist after socialism has bit the dust.
The Swedes have to decide if they want to be Swedes...or muzzies.
