What many Christians aren’t aware of is the depths to which Jesus will stoop down to save a sinner. What we go “EWWWW — get away from me right this minute” at, Jesus patiently suffers through. It may for some be an intermediate step to shed the closet before it dawns on them that they have been lured into hateful acts.
I agree. I don’t like to read the hate and name-calling against gays on this Forum; so many LGBTs are people who were wounded so badly in early childhood. They need our prayers and encouragement, not scorn and condemnation of their chances at renewal. That said, we do scorn sinful behavior of all types from all types of people.
