Trump on Thursday went after MSNBC show “Morning Joe” and its hosts, former congressman Joe Scarborough and commentator Mika Brzezinski.
He even took a shot at Brzezinski over a supposed facelift.
“I heard poorly rated @Morning_Joe speaks badly of me (don’t watch anymore). Then how come low I.Q. Crazy Mika, along with Psycho Joe, came to Mar-a-Lago 3 nights in a row around New Year’s Eve, and insisted on joining me. She was bleeding badly from a face-lift. I said no!” Trump wrote in a pair of tweets.

Right. He won’t call China out as currency manipulators but he’ll call out some TV nobody for a facelift? There are fights the President should be having and fights way beneath the Presidency. This is very much the latter. Focus on the business of the country, not some irrelevants desperate for this attention.
I normally think Trump’s tweets are Tactical and 3D chess, but their show is low rated....and there is momentum building against the media with more info.....this just seems very very odd.
I hope there is a reason other than him just taking out frustration.

Someone, please take his phone from him. This kind of back and forth diminishes the man and the Presidency. He’s the leader of the free world and he should be above the fray of fighting with talking heads with miniscule ratings. That is why there are surrogates. Every time he does this he shrinks to their size.

Someone needed to fight back and take the return blows to show these people that they can’t keep taking free cheap shots. They need to take some, themselves, to be intimidated back into responsibility.

Yours is the old fashioned way and it doesn’t work. People just naturally equate an unwillingness to fight back with being guilty as charged.
I haven’t YET seen any of his people take a serious stand and push back at all against PERSONAL attacks made on the president as these two have made and on a DAILY basis.
He could have been more tactful.
“Mika spent three days at Marolargo but he didn’t want to see her with all the bandages after the surgery.”
This would have made people ask, “what surgery?” and would have worked just as well but wouldn’t have been as crude.
That said, there’s no doubt I still support him.

What's crude about a face-lift? If it was supposed to be so private then what was she doing hanging around a president-elect's party (and all the media)?
If he wasn't specific about the cause of her being a bloody mess, then the media would have accused him of making some sort of sexist remark about females and "blood". Right?
