Stephen Hawking fears Trump could ‘push Earth over the brink’ (T)

Full headline: HAWK AND DOVE Stephen Hawking fears Trump could ‘push Earth over the brink’ and start chain reaction which wipes out humanity.

In recent years, Hawking has become something of a doom-monger who is determined to sketch out a variety of grim fates which await the human race.

In his latest prophecy, the professor suggested our planet could be destined to become totally uninhabitable.

“We are close to the tipping point where global warming becomes irreversible. Trump’s action could push the Earth over the brink, to become like Venus, with a temperature of two hundred and fifty degrees, and raining sulphuric acid,” he told the BBC.

“Climate change is one of the great dangers we face, and it’s one we can prevent if we act now.

“By denying the evidence for climate change, and pulling out of the Paris Climate Agreement, Donald Trump will cause avoidable environmental damage to our beautiful planet, endangering the natural world, for us and our children.”

The famed physicist and doom monger also fears that “evolution has inbuilt greed and aggression to the human genome”, meaning that we might wipe ourselves out before Earth turns into Venus.

And further, I’m not going to “wipe myself out”, but I will wipe my, well, you know;-/

I guess being in that chair for decades has addled his brain a bit. Must be frustrating as hell to have that mind and have so many stumbling blocks to be able to express it.

My thoughts exactly. He is nothing but a vegetable who is rolled around with probably some Soros lackey speaking into a microphone for him. IMHO.

The doom-mongers have had the doomsday clock set at 1 minute to midnight for 50 years.

They always seem to come up with some devastation that is going to destroy mankind — if we don’t throw money at the problem.

Even they cannot agree on which devastation will devastate the planet first — warming, cooling, nuclear winter, collision with asteroids, Trump, etc.

The left kind of uses this guy to push their agenda. We can’t actually ask him things. It is almost like he is programmed.

That would seem; on the face of it, to constitute what may be widely regarded as a rather substantially constituted pile of proverbial crap. However, it looks to be conclusive evidence that Xanax and oatmeal don’t mix.

He wrote a bestselling book and has advanced some theories in physics but all that pales in comparison to playing poker on Star Trek and Words with Friends with Sheldon Cooper on Big Bang.

Hawkins can only speak through a computer with a voice synthesizer. Wonder if someone hacked it.
How do we know it's really him talking or if he has deteriorated so far he has become a puppet show.

China makes heavy use of coal — without all the usual safeguards found here — and it is the US that is responsible for ‘Global Warming’? Be glad you weren’t born to a Chinese family, Stephen.

Trump’s action could push the Earth over the brink...

What "action" would that be? Not bankrupting the US to prop up 3rd world dictators, and submit to tyrannical global elitist oligarchic rule? How are "CO2 polluters" China and India getting off scot-free and have no responsibility in this - just Trump somehow?

What does any of this have to do with 250 degrees temperatures and sulfuric rain? And they call this guy a "scientist?"

I think he's been in a near-vegetable state for too long, and it's addled his brain. He's devoid of logic. Living as a human parasite, much like the vast majority of US democrats and global socialists, has transformed him into one of them.
