At the end of the day, who really cares what CNN does or doesn’t do. They are a fake news machine, pro communist agenda and propaganda. They are to be mocked, ridiculed, shamed by real freedom loving folks.

Good. I hope they bombard CNN with mocking videos. CNN brought this on themselves, and they richly deserve the payback. I hope they’ve irrevocably ruined their brand with this threat.

OK-conceding, for the sake of argument, that CNN can do this. How far do they get to go with threatening private citizens’ anonymity for posting things on the internet which CNN doesn’t like? Do they get to do this to every private citizen who posts something they don’t like, if in theory they wanted to use time and resources to do that? Won’t that have a chilling effect, to say the least, on free speech? I’m only talking about private citizens here, who mostly won’t have the resources and connections to fight such a huge entity as CNN. So in effect, CNN would control speech.

You ever seen a police report that had anything to do with a minor ? They blot the names out , it’s the law in most places that they can’t release the name of the minor. It’s probably why the news doesn’t publish them , even for murder or rape.
CNN maintains that Hans is a middle aged man. Not sure if the 15 y/o kid is accurate....would love to know for sure.

Two can play that game; threaten to publicize the identities and locations of CNN staff/management in retaliation.

Every single day, events occur that draw otherwise private citizens into news stories and those people names are released in the media.
Why is this case any different.
