What can we do to help him? Calling and emailing these vermin isn’t working. Is it pitchfork time yet? Maybe it will be by the midterm elections. But even that doesn’t seem like it would make much difference.
OK. So Congress is now in recess, isn’t it? Do recess appointments for every outstanding position.
Republicans control the Senate and the Senate Committees. They control the schedule. Appointees cannot be filibustered. How exactly are the Democrats causing the hold-up?
And the Senate Republicans are moving the appointments along? Don’t make me laugh. There needs to be a complete cleansing of Senate Republicans and that can only be accomplished by the creation of a new political party.

This isn't just a matter of semantics. I did some research on this when the issue was raised some weeks ago when it was reported that there was no U.S. ambassador to Great Britain because Trump's nominee hadn't been confirmed. It turns out it's not such a simple exercise at all:
1. When the President of the United States announces that he has selected someone to fill a role that requires Senate confirmation, all he has done is make a formal announcement.
2. The person who has been selected for that role doesn't officially become a "nominee" until his or her nomination is given to the Senate. This process can take weeks, or even months -- partly because the nominee has to go through a thorough background check before officially being a "nominee."
3. A candidate for a post will typically face a long period of time between selection and formal nomination if he is very wealthy and/or has extensive business interests that have to be scrutinized closely. Robert Wood Johnson IV, for example -- the heir to the Johnson & Johnson family fortune -- was only recently nominated as U.S. Ambassador to Great Britain, even though President Trump announced his selection all the way back in January.
4. Once a nomination is handed over to the Senate, the Senate usually goes through two parts of a confirmation process -- first in whatever committee oversees the area where the nominee will be working, then in the full Senate.
With the Republicans in full control of the House, Senate & presidency, how exactly are Dems delaying these nominations (serious question)?

In many cases, it is the White House that has slow-walked the official paperwork for Trump’s own nominees. Too any people required to sign off?
In any case, the whitehouse.gov web site exhibits the same lack of timeliness and completeness as the official paperwork.

Looks to me like nominees are approved in normal time periods once the White House actually does what it is supposed to do.
Complaining to Congress about non-specifics isn’t helpful. Citing specific nominees who are being held up can tip off Congressional staffers about details they may not be aware of.
Last I looked, the Republicans held majorities in both chambers of Congress.
Any obstruction that is occurring is the result of Republican complicity.
