Trump Jr. releases email chain on conversations with Russian sources

Donald Trump Jr. on Tuesday released a stunning chain of emails detailing his conversations about setting up a campaign meeting with a Russian lawyer who had offered compromising information on Hillary Clinton.

The information “would incriminate Hillary and her dealings with Russia and would be very useful to your father,” reads one of the emails from Rob Goldstone, who acted as an intermediary to set up the meeting.

“This is obviously very high level and sensitive information but is part of Russia and its government's support for Mr. Trump,” wrote Goldstone.

In one of the emails released on Twitter, referring to the information on Clinton, Trump Jr. told Goldstone: “If it's what you say I love it.”

In another email, Goldstone suggested the information about Clinton could be given to then-candidate Donald Trump through Rhona Graff, his longtime aide.

“I can also send this info to your father via Rhona, but it is ultra sensitive so wanted to sent to you first,” Goldstone wrote.

The White House has not responded to the latest disclosure from the president’s son. Spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders said Monday that Trump only learned of the meeting in the last few days.

She has denied that Trump Jr. colluded with the Russians in any way. American intelligence agencies have determined that Moscow meddled in the 2016 election on Trump’s behalf.

Trump has not commented publicly on the meeting.

Goldstone, a music producer who represents a Russian pop star named Emin Agalarov, has connections to both Russian President Vladimir Putin and President Trump. Agalarov's father was Trump’s partner in bringing the Miss Universe pageant to Russia in 2013.

This dweeb, a desperate promoter (who would want to promote some russian nobody “pop star” and risk the russian mob exposure?— another jewish mobster himself) ALSO worked for FUSION GPS the creator of the “piss on the bed” fake russian dossier, helping no doubt to compose the “story” of absolute BS. This is what hucksters and russian con artists do in the oligarch state.

Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Just sniffing around & ran into this interesting take that questions potential ties to goldstone, steele, fusion GPS, & mccain

"Rob Goldstone needs to be brought before congress and grilled about the emails he sent to Jr., why he said what he said and why he sent them. What was his intention and who was he working with."

Since Rob is a foreign national (in the UK), this might be facilitated via the Hague Service Convention or Hague Evidence Convention.

Speaking of receiving things of value, public officials are prohibited from receiving such from a foreign state or third party - so they can’t be influenced in making decisions on behalf of the country.

Rule doesn’t apply to private citizens. Both Don Jr. and his dad where private citizens in June 2016.

No law was broken.

This isn’t about Legality - it’s about Optics.

The emails clearly state a desire of “The Russians” (sigh..) to help Trump.

The media is going to latch on to that like a dog on a bone, and THAT will be the story ad nauseum for weeks if not months / years.

As much as this story tweaks me off no end, it is not likely to go away. If you doubt that for a second, go read any MSM article posted today or turn on any coverage. It’s only going to get worse.

The CIA asks the court to bug the Trump Tower right after this meeting. Why? This meeting. ALways ask your self three questions when reading the news. How do they know this information? Why are they telling me this? Why are they telling me this now?

They know it because the CIA/FBI was watching her. She was just allowed in the US after being denied entry to the US. The US was listening to her. So the deep state had this all along.

The CIA knew this and leaked this. And they were listening to Trump.

They told us this information because it moves the narrative. And they are telling it to us now its because the Russian narrative was dying. The CIA did not put this out willingly. They did it because the public was tired of the story.

But just look at the time line. Trump does not know about Russia. He is not the nominee. Hillary is running against Bernie. And Bernie is the guy staying in hoping Hillary will be tossed out. And for some reason the CIA asks the court to bug Trump tower right after this meeting. So we know the CIA knew about this meeting. And the Russians did not think Trump was the guy that would be President.

“This is galvanizing current Trump support and will gain more support.”

This point is so true.

As the Opposition Party attacks and attacks, and then we see the Trump administration respond back hard, this certainly galvanizes his support. I know it does for me.

Gets me riled up. I tend to want to support Trump more and more.

If this was low energy Jebbie and all the attacks were on him, and yet he would sit back and take it, I would care less.

But totally different with Trump.

WINNING!!

MAGA!!

“No law was broken.”

What if he failed to disclose this meeting on his application for security clearance?

Wait a second. This Goldstone first claimed in email that the Russian government was offering help to Trump and then when Donald Jr met with Goldstone and got nothing, Goldstone conspired with McCain, etc to create a fake dossier supposedly incriminating Trump?

Am I understanding that correctly?

Because if I am there is not one scintilla of doubt that this was a DNC set-up. The whole line about the Russian government’s attempt to help Trump win gives it away.

The media is going to lose out, big time, when all is revealed.

The best interpretation is that this was dumb. It’s very bad optics, at the least.

Not sure what to make of this?

Are you serious? This was meant to be released and is an obvious setup.

This is actually good. Another nothing-burger. Over and over again, nothing comes of it. At some point, the media become the boy who cried wolf too often. They are reaching and passing that point every day with more and more Americans. They are, in effect, inoculating Trump against any real scandal should they ever uncover it.

Exactly why there needs to be some political brass knuckles applied. Metaphorical curb stopping and knee capping. Go offensive with DNC prosecutions, IRS, DOJ, FBI, CIA all need to be purged of ideologues. RINOs like “ partners” Linda Graham and Juan McShame, too.
