White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer has reportedly resigned, per the NYT's Glenn Thrush. Spicer was opposed to the appointment of Anthon Scaramucci as the White House Communications director.

Not fond of Spicer, but he might have a point. I’ve already read how this guy was one of Obama’s people, and how he endorsed two other candidates including Jeb! on the way to this nomination. He started out at Goldman. I don’t doubt that he’s smart, I just think he’s probably myopic and trendy in the way that got us into the mess we are in. What do you think?
Agree!
Scaramucc’, Scaramucc’, can you do the Fandango?
Preferably on the press corps head!!!!
LOL! :^D
It is remarkable.
If your spouse worked for them then obviously you are bought off by big banks by association but populating former employees throughout the Administration, well that just the Art of the Deal!
So much winning.......if hypocrisy means winning now.
I have complete trust in Trump's judgement.
Just recently I've been thinking "hmmm, I wish Trump would be a little more out there in terms of communicating directly to the people, especially since the MSM won't help him on that". Then boom... yesterday he publishes a slick "America First" video doing just that.
Trump continues to be ahead of the curve.
Wasn’t Spicer a Priebus guy?
> I subscribed to her website for a year but cancelled before the year was up, let her keep my money, just could not stand her constant bitchy whine. <
Interesting. I only saw her on Fox News, back before I got rid of cable. And I liked her. But I’ll take your word for it.
My new campaign: Mark Steyn for Press Secretary!
If not a FReeprule it should be:
Good choice but isn't she trying to run for the senate?
“I have complete trust in Trump’s judgment.”
He appointed Spicer in the first place. Just a simple lapse of this trustworthy judgment? Or maybe Preibus made him do it......that must be it because in having to relieve the Press Secty that he hired he’s “ahead of the curve.”
Does anyone think here anymore?
Aside from the D.C. types Americans don’t care much about something like this. I like this new guy....hope to see the White House get more aggressive in any case.
> Good choice but isn’t she trying to run for the senate? <
Sorry, but I’ve already dropped her. Please see my post #48.
Scaramucci, Scaramucci, will you do the fandango?
Yeah, that’s the big thing—Spicer is an RNC/Priebus guy. Trump is right that he needs to flush such out of his admin, but Priebs, McMaster, Powell, etc., are probably higher priority.
Because the Mooch is wealthy, perhaps Trump will trust him more, but Trump really needs guys in there that he will listen too and who aren’t part of the swamp—or liberal Manhattan Democrat types like Cohn, Jared and Ivanka.
I like that Toni Lahren young lady who had the “last word” on Hannity this week. Just the right amount of sarcasm and “won’t back down” spunk. She’s available, too.
I really liked Sean but the job wasn’t right for him. I hope he can find someone with a Washington background who knows where all the bodies are buried to be Chief of Staff.
rah rah, sis boom bah!
people and relationships have there time and place. Spicer served his purpose. The Presidency is not a fixed day to day operation that employees should be set for 4 years time. a leader knows when it’s time to show people the door or encourage them to leave.
