Trump rips China on Twitter: 'They do NOTHING for us with North Korea'

"They do NOTHING for us with North Korea, just talk." Trump posted on the social network, before vowing, "We will no longer allow this to continue. China could easily solve this problem!"

Donald J. Trump ✔ @realDonaldTrump
I am very disappointed in China. Our foolish past leaders have allowed them to make hundreds of billions of dollars a year in trade, yet...

They won't do jack either way. It is not enough. We need to put a price on their actions, and drive it high.

“Took months, but its finally understood: China is and always has been the problem.”

I think Trump knew very well, before he was elected. He raised the issue many times during the campaign. His grand daughter has been being taught Chinese for years.

His selection of Wilbur Ross and Peter Navarro indicate that he has been focused on ending the exploitative trade arrangement between the USA and Communist China, that is the root of both America’s relative economic decline, and Communist China’s growing military power and aggressiveness.

It took six months to do the prudent preliminaries - give them a chance to reform, and coordinate plans with key players (major business leaders and international allies). I am guessing that August is showtime.

That’s because NK is china’s “get out of jail free” plausible deniabilty card.

If the norks manage to land a nuke on US soil, all of our fury will be taken out on them, and china dodges a bullet.

The chinese, russians, iranians, and other communist regimes are setting up NK to be the proxy, and the fall guy.

And they’re doing this because they absolutely do not want to be on the receiving end of any US retaliation.

If you open a Chinagate investigation, it will net many RINO’s and Dem's. I suspect money trails are all over the place and pretty much in the open.

Come to liberate Chinese people who have been under dictatorship by communism government since 1949! Please do not hesitate any more because it also poses serious threat to the civilization world ....You can number your finger to count how many countries there have where the communism government has been legitimate...

It will start on Twitter, and end with boots on the ground in Pyongyang. Kim will rapidly view some military movement as a legitimate decapitation event, and since every NK game theory -- even ours -- says his best survival percentage is to launch it all, in all probability that's what he'll do.

"North Korea is "probably correct" in its view that it can survive sanctions long enough to build its arsenal to the point where the world has to accept it as a nuclear state...The U.S. is likely to make a "dramatic move" this year against China in a bid to stop that from happening."-- Andrew Gilholm, Control Risks Group

Bring India’s leaders over for a powow and hold a press conference and make it plain we want to shift our imports from China to India.

This sounds like a very Trumpian strategy.  Great.  It gives us LEVERAGE.

When China see their largest trading partner seriously siding up with the next manufacturing powerhouse, India, that will get their attention.

When Trump saw Putin, he played his energy card.  Our excess of oil and natural gas has become a key political weapon.  And guess what? Our Secretary of State is the ex-CEO of Exxon!  Brilliant, Mr. Trump.

In fact, they supply NK with a lot of their base machines and technology.

DUH! China is the actual enabler of the NK despot, and willfully so, and his nuke threats to the USA are something they strongly want to continue......

Trump knows this.

We need to pray God gives him the wisdom to know how to deal with this in a final effective way.

I think the ONLY solution is to take out Kim in a way who did it cannot be traced.....Trump: “Hey, Netanyahu - have a big favor to ask......take out Kim in a way it cannot be traced - and we’ll give you a couple F-35’s......”

It would help if the Congress were actually worried about that madman having ICBMs, but they are more worried about perpetuating the Russian fractured fairy-tale to take down Trump.

Uh oh, Trump’s ticked. He’s not going to give them any concessions like the Terrorist in Chief and the Clintoons did.

Can you imagine how Chinese would think when they are watching political circus about Russia in DC? With so many going to extreme length to take him down, they would wonder if he has enough political clouts to do whatever he professes to do. It gives them more incentive to stall. Pushing Russia hoax is an act of treason, not legally but politically.

Right. North Koreans cannot make everything needed for producing their ICBM or nuke. They cannot make them from household electronic gadgets and tools, either. They need many specialized industrial equipment and components. Since N. Korea is not an industrial powerhouse, it would be clear to Chinese what N. Koreans would use them for when they are shipped to N. Korea via China.

Well, that's right. China isn't going to seriously negotiate with Trump when the entire US government is busy giving the world the impression that Trump might not be around in a couple of months.

I think a clear statement to the effect that if Kim's tests continue, the US will support Japan in their deployment of a full and credible anti-NK nuclear deterrent would be the way to go. China has been trying to punish South Korea over THAAD because they think the system might prevent them from responding to a potential Japanese attack. For domestic political purposes, China has never been willing to let WWII come to an end. Let's see how the Politburo like Abe and crew with MIRVed warheads at the ready - and it all being Xi's fault.

I hate to say it but it’s time to fix what Truman effed up. We would have won that war and in 1953 it turned into WW1. Truman was a female dog. MacArthur was right and we’ve been paying for it ever since with this crap.

Yep and McCarthy was right about all the commies in State

In my view the GOPeer just bought and own the NK problem. They had been able to say, look the children were running this thing and we have a mess to clean up and it will be ugly and dangerous. But now they want to run a one armed sack race and hope their champion falls on his face in the mud.

Geebus I wish this same strategy would be applied domestically and eliminate **koff koff** wrap Energy, EPA, and Interior into Homeland Security. I mean, drain the freaking swamp already.

Trump gets it.
Eventually, you see that you are being used as a tool for an agenda.
China has multiple agendas and has since Nixon opened the floodgates.
Hard to say if China or India is more dangerous.
China has more $$$ but India can’t be trusted on anything.
