President Donald Trump is correct in his view that there seems no appetite within the Federal Bureau of Investigation or the U.S. Department of Justice to pursue an investigation into the Clinton Foundation, including the actual sources of the copious streams of cash that flowed into its coffers during the period when Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State.
How has Hillary Clinton continued to enjoy immunity from prosecution?
The answer rests in the fact that over the eight years that they were in power, Bill and Hillary Clinton co-opted a large number of officials into being their agents. Those responsive to requests from the Clintons saw their careers enhanced, while those who were recalcitrant suffered professionally.
The Clintons were back in full play, as the 44th president made his peace with the Clinton machine by allowing his administration to be dominated by Clinton loyalists. Hundreds of officials have therefore become part of the Clinton machine, including several who are nominally independent or Republican.
Any investigation into the Clintons would expose them as well. Hence the closing of ranks against any genuine investigation of the doings of Bill and Hillary Clinton. The former first lady is too well networked to seriously probe, as any such inquiry would place at risk the immense support network of the Clinton machine within the bureaucracy. Hillary Clinton in 2017, quite simply, is too big to jail, just as certain banks were too big to fail in 2008.

If Secy Clinton knew all that, then her actions in circulating memos composed by Blumenthal were egregious. If she did not know, her recklessness is subject to US laws.
ITEM---to its donors---and to the world beyond---the Clinton Foundation hired Sid Blumenthal to..... (wait for it)..... "promote Bill's presidential legacy." That's what Sid was supposed to be doing for his $325,000 foundation salary.
ITEM---so if the Clinton Foundation Board of Trustees signed off on the Blumenthal hire without being appraised of the full scope of his duties....that would violate state laws and place the trustees in legal jeopardy.

Another aspect of this is that Hillary was eager to have an overthrow of Qaddafi because she wanted to tout that as a foreign policy success. This is why she immediately got on the TV to proclaim: “We Came, We Saw, He Died” and then laughed hysterically.
The other aspect of this, I figure, is they knew they could use this coup to extort money from other countries in the Middle East. Make a donation to the Clinton Foundation or you might see you and your family killed. “Such a same what happened to poor Quaddafi”, says Hillary.
And sure enough, as you reported many months ago, Obama got a sweet post-Presidency contract to teach Muslim girls in Morocco, if I recall.
