‘Racism is Evil’ — Donald Trump Condemns KKK, Neo-Nazis, and White Supremacists

President Donald Trump denounced hate groups at the White House on Monday, responding to critics of his response to the violence in Charlottesville, Virgina surrounding an alt-right rally.

“Racism is evil. And those who cause violence in its name are criminals and thugs, including the KKK, Neo-Nazis, White Supremacists, and other hate groups that are repugnant to everything we hold dear as Americans,” Trump said.

The president made his remarks in the Diplomatic Reception Room at the White House after meeting with Attorney General Jeff Sessions and the FBI Director Chris Wray.

Trump specifically named Heather Heyer, the 32-year-old woman killed during the protests after a reported Nazi sympathizer drove his car into a crowd of counter protesters.

“We condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence,” he said.

Sadly, I strongly agree with you. On other threads, I have noted that Trump’s failure to condemn Antifa and BLM gives the impression that Trump is either blind to the manipulation of a violent outcome by the Charlottesville mayor, Antifa and BLM or supportive of it. Either position will facilitate a “deep state” take down of Trump.

Exactly.

If he really wanted to cause mass carnage he would have been driving a pickup truck with a snowplow mounted on it. LOL.

I’d have liked to hear antifa, communists and BLM condemned as hate groups but you know what? If he had, the MSM would have focused on his words for the next two days instead of the violence perpetrated on peaceful protestors.

What peaceful protestors are you talking about? In Charlottesville?

There were none. Both sides went into this knowing full well what the outcome would be.

“..Doesn`t matter...he will still be blamed for it...”

That is the whole reason the radical, globalist, anti-democracy Marxists (Soros, et al) engineered this mess. Just like the other scam riots that Obama engineered and supported. Just fodder for the corrupt media and the RATS.

And also to forget that there are a few nations with warrants for Soros arrest.

I was disappointed in his statement. I thought he was going to reiterate law and order which is one of the things he ran on. Why are people allowed to bring bats and rocks and urine and backpacks to these gatherings? The second amendment is free speech not smashed windows and heads.

That’s to be seen - as it is, I’ll take them at their word for now.

The fact of the matter is that they came with guns and no shootings took place.
They came to protest and didn’t trash stores or the landscape or vandalized the town.

They came to protest and they didn’t attack the police.

BLM and Antifa attacked the car with bats and clubs - smashing the front windshield. BLM and Antifa attacked Unite the Right and the KKK and the nazis for protesting and merely existing.

That’s all I need to know.

OK Mr President. You, yourself said to fight a particular group of extremists you have to ID them.

You did that to a few, but you should have indentified the rest.

IMO, the proclamation would have been OK if you would have said that you condemn those groups as well as those like ANTIFA, and ANY group backed by the anti American funded foundations.

I was initially pissed that he didn’t mention the real agitators which were ANTiFA and BLM. but he did say all hate groups and said anyone involved in the violence will be brought to justice. It sounds like he caved but I guarantee you Jeff Sessions will get to the bottom of it and it’ll turn out that the Soros-funded ANTIFA and BLM instigated the entire thing and Sessions will implicate the police chief and Mayor of Charlottesville. Then we’ll get to hear the media say again how racist a Sessions is.

If it turns out to be proved that Antifa/Revcom slammed the driver’s car with a bat which panicked the scared kid to accelerate (then reverse at speed when attacked with more bats) many who condemned him falsely will look stupid.

The right was lazily naive here.

Donald isn’t perfect either, however the most important signal is coming from heaven, not earth.

You don’t go in assuming that naive talk about rights is enough. You need the muscle of God. Which is well regulated (self controlled according to the complexity of God’s love plan).

In Dallas, a black nationalist activist shot and killed 5 police officers at a Black Lives Matter anti-police rally. Instead of condemning BLM, Barack Obama defended a racist hate group whose role model is Assata Shakur, a wanted black nationalist cop killer, at the funerals of the murdered officers.

What Unite The Right did was leave a gaping door open for trouble.

They did more than that. The willingly goose-stepped through that door. Their pre-text might have been to protest the removal of Confederate statues. But in reality - they were useful idiots of the Antifa left.

Yeah. I noticed that too. He doubled down on the Strange one.
It may be having an effect on Brooks. But Moore’s numbers have
risen since Trumps first endorsement. I hope Moore’s numbers climb
again to 51%. No runoff then.

That’s indeed when the left is the worst menace. When it coaxes the right into losing its head.

Good grief, President Trump, why did you not mentioned ANTIFA and BLM? BOTH are just as bad as the. neo-Nazis and the KKK.

The politicians are making it almost impossible to disagree with the the aims and goals of violent leftist groups.
