Just understand that, if Nazis show up to march in your parade, you’ve already lost the argument.

And, truth be told, their bus tickets and motels are probably paid by DNC. This is mischief. If you follow James O’Keefe’s work you know what I mean.

“...in order to fight the lefties I have to join the Nazis? No thanks...”

Didn’t we join with the Communist Soviets to fight the Nazis in WWII? OK, that didn’t work out as well as our leaders at the time hoped, but:

If I am presented with two groups, both of whom hold some beliefs which disgust me, and one of those groups tries to bash in my head with a baseball bat, while the other stands between me and the first with a shield, I am going to feel more sympathetic to the shield-bearer than the bat-wielder, no matter what device is painted on his shield.

The left should pray that they DON'T start a civil war. It will not end well for them.

We have a trillion rounds of ammo and they can't figure out which bathroom to use.

Lee is a tainted cause. He’s traditional, yes... that’s where he comes within the conservative bailiwick.

He also represents a worldview that considered some men so little that it was felt they were best enslaved. Yup, our dear ole lefties. Margaret Sanger as another example.

“States rights” are a travesty when they are used by states to do wrongs that transcend the authority under God of states.

For a devilish fuss to erupt over General Lee over a century and a half later seems oddly apropos. He isn’t a rightly conservative cause. Now remembering the Civil War as well as taking the lessons it taught IS a rightly conservative cause. Maybe the protest should have been to add Grant, not against removing Lee.

This is one big mixed up mess, to be sure.

Dixie is a wonderful place. I’m considering moving there if a job offer from it comes my way, which it might. I’ll be in the Cracker, er, Sunshine State. A state considered so unimportant, remote, and perilous that as far as I am aware, Grant didn’t even bother it during the Civil War. Thank God for DuPont, the Northern inventors of Freon, for making Florida livable.

But Dixie needs Yankee Land to thrive, and Yankee Land is enriched by having Dixie as part of its union. May the union thrive. May it not divide against itself. Which is what happened when a noble sounding thing, states rights, were raised up in defense of some horrible wrongs. When the South called it splits on the North, not only did it sabotage the blessings that had been coming from the North, but it doubled down on slavery... it’s not hard to see how God would frown on that, bigtime.

But as for Lee... in isolation, he was asking for trouble, and veneration of him is asking for trouble too.

If you went to a protest and you found yourself standing around a bunch of Nazi flags and people giving the salute, you would continue to stand there?

Honestly, this is the line of thinking that is going to get you assaulted in most cities in the world.

But, it’s your right. Have at it.

Do you really believe Western civilization has nothing to do with race? We are fighting an explicitly anti-white ideology. You are arguing for the strategy of simply ignoring this and hoping that if we don’t mention race, the left won’t either. That approach has been a total failure. Younger white Americans will not follow that kind of thinking. They have experienced the consequences of whites being the only group without a sense of collective identity and interests.

You have get over the idea that not talking about race will make it go away.

Most of our peers are still trying to figure out under just which conditions they can agree to get out of the dugout and the opposing team is on the field, cheered on by the BSM and putting points on the board unopposed. No wonder our “leadership” is called the “stupid party”. I am reminded of Bill Colby’s old sketch about his college football team. Most of the team was grateful for the scholarship but didn’t want to actually have to risk getting hurt by playing so they would show up to games wearing snowshoes and scuba gear. It was hilarious.

Thank you for your analogy of so many in our side staying in the dugout. Even so many of the replies in this thread show that this is so. It is frustrating to no end.

The Left has already declared war. It is if they’ve bombed Pearl Harbor and now are eyeing the Continental U.S., and the mainland American’s not getting involved using the reasoning that we are mainlanders and not islanders, and hoping that the enemy disappears.

"Antifa will attack you regardless. But do not get in bed with “white nationalists”. You are taking the bait."

Whats wrong with being white, and being pro country? The word "nationalist" has been bastardized by the left.

nationalist - 1 : an advocate of or believer in nationalism
2 : a member of a political party or group advocating national independence or strong national government

nationalism - 1 : loyalty and devotion to a nation; especially : a sense of national consciousness (see consciousness 1c) exalting one nation above all others and placing primary emphasis on promotion of its culture and interests as opposed to those of other nations or supranational groups Intense nationalism was one of the causes of the war.
2 : a nationalist movement or government opposing nationalisms"

The opposite of a "nationalist" is a "globalist."

The word, you appear to want to reference, is "supremacist"...an entirely different thing.

That old racist Robert E. Lee

Now some truth about the southern General:

HISTORY OF THE LIFE
of Rev. Wm. Mack Lee

I was born June 12, 1835, Westmoreland County, Va.; 82 years ago. I was raised at Arlington Heights, in the house of General Robert E. Lee, my master. I was cook for Marse Robert, as I called him, during the civil war and his body servant. I was with him at the first battle of Bull Run, second battle of Bull Run, first battle of Manassas, second battle of Manassas and was there at the fire of the last gun for the salute of the surrender on Sunday, April 9, 9 o'clock, A. M., at Appomatox, 1865.

The following is a list of co-generals who fought with Marse Robert in the Confederate Army: Generals Stonewall Jackson, Early, Longstreet, Kirby, Smith, Gordon from Augusta, Ga. Beauregard from Charleston, S. C., Wade Hampton, from Columbia, S. C., Hood, from Alabama, Ewell Harrison from Atlanta, Ga., Bragg, cavalry general from Chattanooga, Tenn., Wm. Mahone of Virginia, Pickett, Forest, of Mississippi, Mosby, of Virginia, Willcox, of Tennessee, Lyons, of Mississippi, Charlimus, of Mississippi, Sydney Johnston, Fitzhugh Lee, nephew of Marse Robert, and Curtis Lee, his son.

The writer of this little book, the body servant of Gen. Robert E. Lee, had the pleasure of feeding all these men at the headquarters in Petersburg, the battles of Decatur, Seven Pines, the Wilderness, on the plank road between Fredericksburg and Orange County Court House, Chancellorsville, The Old Yellow Tavern, in the Wilderness, Five Forks, Cold Harbor, Sharpsburg, Boonesville, Gettysburg, New Market, Mine Run, Cedar Mountain, Civilian, Louisa Court House, Winchester and Shenandoah Valley.

At the close of the struggle, General Lee said to General Grant: "Grant, you didn't whip me, you just overpowered me, I surrender this day 8,000 men; I do not surrender them to you, I surrender on conditions; it shall not go down in history I surrendered the Northern Confederate Army of Virginia to you. It shall go down in history I surrendered on conditions; you have ten men to my one; my men, too, are barefooted and hungry. If Joseph E. Johnston could have gotten to me three days ago I would have cut my way through and gone back into the mountains of North Carolina and would have given you a happy time." What these conditions were I do not know, but I know these were Marse Robert's words on the morning of the surrender: "I surrender to you on conditions."

At the close of the war I did not know A from B, although I had been preaching two years before the war. I was married six years before the war. My wife died in 1910. I am the father of eight daughters and I have twenty-one grand children and eight great-grand children. My youngest child is 42 years old.

I was raised by one of the greatest men in the world. There was never one born of a woman greater than Gen. Robert E. Lee, according to my judgment. All of his servants were set free ten years before the war, but all remained on the plantation until after the surrender.

The following from the Bedford Bulletin, a paper published in the town of Bedford, Va., which town I am now visiting, situated in the mountains in full view of the famous Peaks of Otter; while soliciting means here to finish my church near Norfolk, I caught inspiration to give the readers of this little book, my friends, and friends and admirers of Marse Robert, a brief history of his body servant and cook, the Rev. William Mack Lee, and will, I hope, cause you to purchase one at the price named on back of same, as I will never be able to write another; I am too old.
