ATLANTA - The NAACP has called for a boycott of the NFL. The organization says the league treated free agent Colin Kaepernick unfairly for his headline grabbing protest during the national anthem.

--SNIP--

Kaepernick has not been signed by an NFL team. This boycott is not just here in Georgia. It is nationwide. The NAACP says they are planning to send a strong message to not only commissioner Rodger Goodell, but NFL owners like Arthur Blank.

NAACP riding the coattails of conservatives that have already put a hurtin’ on the NFL.

Are all the helmeted folks of color on the field gonna participate?

There was already a boycott of sorts last year. Fans were disgusted at Kaepernicks (and others) antics and for the first time in a long time...the NFL was actually hit in the pocketbook. Ratings went down.

We had to go out there and remind them who their core audience is and that this is not acceptable.

The NFL can survive with these radical fringe groups pathetic boycotts. But the NFL cannot survive without a chunk of disposable income from patriotic white males. Colin Kaepernick

I have not watched the NFL for two years including the Super Bowl. My yard looks great and the back deck has a new coat of paint (OK, it 8 months old.)

I do not care about entertainers' personal opinions. Keep it to yourself. You are there to entertain, not educate.

Oh, and watching a game is insufferably slow with all the penalties and review stuff. I'm glad I'm free.

With 130,000 on a waiting list for Green Bay Packers tickets, I suspect they’ll survive the boycott OK. But,if the NFL caves to this, it’s time all of us boycott the NFL.

I have weaned my self from all sports, with the exception of an occasional college football game. And some of those I watch recorded and fast-forward through all the crap. (Do that with the few things I watch like Lou Dobbs and Hannity, too).

"I’ve stopped shopping at Target, now Walmart after the CEO stabbed Trump in the back. slashed purchases from Amazon, and on and on and on. Not going to stop living because liberals own a lot of businesses."

I do not shop Target or WalMart. Haven't for several years. Some years ago, we were in a very tight money situation, and we started to shop very conservatively, especially for food. We found an outlet store in Amish country that has really great, top line food stuffs, for a pittance. We shop there every couple weeks.

We have gardens, and grow our own produce, especially tomatoes, peppers, onions, garlic, potatoes, herbs etc, even horseradish. And we have a neighbor how has a great garden and what we don't grow we buy from him. If we don't grow it and he doesn't have it, we find it in Amish country.

We learned to be frugal, and we still are, to our advantage. Goes right to the bottom line.

There is now going to be a lot of pressure on black players to strike.

The NAACP attempting to hijack the boycott started last year by patriotic Americans. The news media will of course give them credit for this years downturn in viewership and income.

The NAACP should also demand that the Black players on the team resign.....

Oh sure. U of Missouri pulled it a few years ago, and ruined the team as well as the university (students stopped enrolling and alumni stopped sending donations)

——Kaepernick-—

is a Democrat plant in the NFL. His mission is to disrupt and destroy.

He must be destroyed, snuffed.

"There will be no football in the state of Georgia if Colin Kaepernick is not on a training camp roster and given an opportunity to pursue his career," said Gerald Griggs from Atlanta NAACP.

Yeah I'm betting that there will be football.

This is a very slick more by the naacp. They now have a “heads they win tails we lose” set up. If we don’t watch they say we are with CommieNick; if we do watch they fund raise off our “hate.” My response to them is GFY!

Well, isn't that special. Bet you couldn't read that in any other voice than the Church Lady...

The NAACP is boycotting the very organization who makes more black millionaires than any other organization that is not a sports franchise. Leaves me scratching my head.

So half the fan base will boycott because he is not signed. The other half will boycott if he is signed.

Ironic isn’t it? If the left’s hatred wasn’t so serious, this would be laughable!

I hope we can do that.
The NFL and most “Professional” sports these days are poison.
