Steve Bannon Tough, Smart Voice At Breitbart News, ‘Fake News Needs The Competition’
Breitbart ^ | 08/19/17 | Michelle Moons

President Donald Trump tweeted out support for his now former Chief Strategist Stephen K. Bannon on Saturday and for Bannon’s return to Breitbart News.

“Steve Bannon will be a tough and smart new voice at @BreitbartNews,” wrote Trump. “…maybe even better than ever before. Fake News needs the competition!”

The tweet came just one day after Bannon officially left his position at the White House and returned to his position as Executive Chairman of Breitbart News.

Trump has long called out false and biased reporting in news outlets that he has called, “fake news.”

Saturday morning Trump tweeted his appreciation for Bannon’s service:

Bannon joined the Trump presidential campaign on August 17, 2016. He was brought on as Chief Strategist at the beginning of the Trump Administration. On August 7 Bannon submitted his intention to step down from his position in the White House. White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said on Friday that Chief of Staff John Kelly and Bannon agreed on Friday that it would be his last day at the White House. Bannon left the White House almost precisely one year to the day from when he joined the campaign.

Breitbart News’s website traffic has been ranked #63 in the United States on Alexa.com. The Breitbart News Facebook page has been ranked #13 in the world.

And all his targets probably assume he had THEM unmasked.

Wonder who his top and most vulnerable target is.

Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

They made the rules.

Un mask um & go after them.

Will be interesting to see who he goes after first

There is no way McConnell, Ryan and GOPe will ever let Trump pass his agenda. In fact I expect them to block his next SC nominee.

The other day, when it was announced Bannon was out, scores of concern-troll virtue-signaling Freepers, before taking time to learn the facts, came here to immediately rescind their support for Trump. And they wanted all of us to know it.

I won't call them out but I took note of who some of them were. They are no better than the knee-jerk virtue-signaling RINOS like Romney, Graham, McCain, Ryan and McConnell in my opinion. They are a cancer on the movement.

Same thing happened when scaramucci got the boot

Bannon faces an interesting dilemma because of his security clearance. Not familiar with legal details of this but did see something about him having to report classified info leaks

So sources could be problematic

Remember the Mercer money is behind Breitbart and the Mercers brought Bannon and Kellyanne onto Team Trump.

Shot of scotch first, then other shot.

Patton loved a fighter.
Especially one who was willing to get down and dirty.
Scotch. No doubt about it.

By all accounts there is great agreement between them in terms of policy and affection and respect.

But also credible reports of how irate Trump was with Bannon’s self-promotion. This was a loss for our side, as it shows the continued slide to a liberal Democrat-run WH.

But yes, we can hope for what Bannon can do from the outside. Clearly he was frustrated with the limits to what he could get done inside the Jivanka WH.

The initial plan was for them to get major legislation passed. Not for the WH to be overtaken by Jivanka’s liberal Democrat pals and GOPe traitors.

It’s pretty ugly. They will try to get him out of office before he has a chance to name another one anyway.

But there is a difference between the WH fighting them and the WH being a den of liberal Democrats looking to now push legislation that is liberal and bipartisan.

Didn’t Bannon say from the get-go that he would give it a year?

I didn’t even address passing the agenda

Not as if Bannon did much to get it passed in the first place

That's the way I see it - I would wager that Bannon went to trump and told him he could be more effective w/o the burden of the WH protocols designed to protect the President for certain "associations".

Bannon is already tweeting and I'm following him and encouraging him.

Agreed

That makes more sense than anything else

Once again Trump is smarter than those watching him
