Steve Bannon Tough, Smart Voice At Breitbart News, ‘Fake News Needs The Competition’
Breitbart ^ | 08/19/17 | Michelle Moons

President Donald Trump tweeted out support for his now former Chief Strategist Stephen K. Bannon on Saturday and for Bannon’s return to Breitbart News.

“Steve Bannon will be a tough and smart new voice at @BreitbartNews,” wrote Trump. “…maybe even better than ever before. Fake News needs the competition!”

The tweet came just one day after Bannon officially left his position at the White House and returned to his position as Executive Chairman of Breitbart News.

Trump has long called out false and biased reporting in news outlets that he has called, “fake news.”

Saturday morning Trump tweeted his appreciation for Bannon’s service:

Bannon joined the Trump presidential campaign on August 17, 2016. He was brought on as Chief Strategist at the beginning of the Trump Administration. On August 7 Bannon submitted his intention to step down from his position in the White House. White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said on Friday that Chief of Staff John Kelly and Bannon agreed on Friday that it would be his last day at the White House. Bannon left the White House almost precisely one year to the day from when he joined the campaign.

Breitbart News’s website traffic has been ranked #63 in the United States on Alexa.com. The Breitbart News Facebook page has been ranked #13 in the world.

I have rethought my initial reaction

Maybe Trump and Bannon got together to figure out a way to beat the Fake News. This is the result

Looks like BANNON is going to be fighting on the front lines of the media war.

Bannon will get a lot of new viewers for Breitbart too so it’s a win-win.

No, Bannon himself has said that his exit will make it tougher for Trump to get his agenda passed.

I feel he can do moore good back at BreightB.

He will have no qualms pointing out and amplifying the false BS that comes from CNN and MSNBC.

Should be fun to watch

I must say I had a hard time imagining Bannon working with a couple of Generals.

I wonder if Patton would have shot him or had some Scotch with him.

Bannon can do far more damage to the Democrats/Rinos/Never Trumpsters from outside the WH...

The mediots, rioting liberals and liberal mayors, who allowed the rioting are in for some fun times from Bannon.

There will be zero mercy on the mediots and Never Trumpsters in Congress and Rino's in Bannon land.

Bannon has now entered a Free Fire Zone and will take Zero Prisoners!

Think he implied that there was no more that he, Bannon, could do within the White House structure. So that initial plan is now finished. Bannon will now be in the field directing fire. The MSM needs to be physically eradicated now. They have gone full Venezuela.

I’m with you. We have a lot of “conservative” newscasters, but none of them have successfully framed the debate. Perhaps Bannon can do more at Breibart than from the WH.

And all his targets probably assume he had THEM unmasked.

Wonder who his top and most vulnerable target is.

My opinion of what Bannon said was that the “present” Trump presidency was over, IOW, the way Trump has handled things since the inauguration will now change...

Bannon and Trump are, I believe, great allies and we are going to see some things go on....

It is probably going to be “popcorn time” again....

“I have rethought my initial reaction

Quite possible. Bannon is now unleashed. Maybe a Conservative network?
