Several Salinas organizations held a rally against racism Friday.
People gathered at the corner of Boronda and North Main for the rally to stand with Charlottesville after the recent violence there.

It is amazing how fast the left can get a lot of uninformed people to join an action in opposition of an incident they don’t understand.
When I was growing up there in the 60’s it was about the most peaceful place on the face of the Earth.
The only excitement would be a couple of Mexicans carving themselves up on a Friday or Saturday night in Chinatown.
Now it looks like they’ve taken it to a new level. If I remember, Salinas has a population of about 150K. So with 40 murders its rate is roughly double that of Chicago’s.

I guess virtue signaling is just a lot easier than taking responsibility for your own problems and trying to clean up your own mess.

What’s frustrating is that these gang bangers will get shot and the paramedics determine that they need to be life flighted to Stanford at $30,000 per ride. Then they state that they will not cooperate with the authorities in telling them who shot him. Should push them out on the way to Stanford.

Who gives a shit what the Hispanic racists do in Salinas? If it were in Kansas, then I’d worry.
Why is it that every California city/town I have a legal case in or near is a Marxist/Hispanic crime and economic shit-hole? It wasn’t always that way. There were many decent Hispanic-Americans, hardworking, law abiding people, who wouldn’t put up with this combined Marxist/Irredentist crap.
What happened to them? Cowered by the violence of the Left/Racists? Turned inward, trying to shut out the violent Democrat Party ruled world they live in? Just turned “Stupid” overnight?
Where are the pro-America Hispanic leaders of California? Anybody gut balls out there or are the cowards and snowflakes in total command of your minds?

75% Hispanic as of 2010 (safe to assume it’s broken 80%, since it was 65% in 2000). Noted on Wikipedia (no less) that as of 2011, 3 zip codes within Salinas had no fewer than 10-15% illegal (and you know how much higher that must be by now).
Cesar Chavez would be horrified at California today. He opposed illegal immigration and was apparently pro-life. I’m surprised the ultra-radical-antifa Fascist-Communist Left hasn’t denounced Chavez as a right-winger and demand all his naming honors be stripped (from schools, streets, statues, et al).
