If it is him, the flash must have really lit up the exposure as what should be an Iron cross medal looks washed out. It’s shaped right, but the black that should be in the middle isn’t there, though it’s possible that the black is enamel and glossy and just happened to flash. There are three medals in the right place low down on his side.

Collar tab looks like oak leaf strip with a little curve to it Goering has the same tab in one of his pics, but I don’t recall if Hitler ever wore tabs on his collar, my impression is that he usually didn’t.
There’s enough detail there someone in the know should be able to confirm who it isn’t, if not who it is.

Medal looks like it’s all silver with numerous projections rather than four, so definitely not an iron cross...therefore not Hitler. So I’d go with the JPost id of Ribbentrop, if anyone knows they would.
Germany: Journalist Sentenced to Six Months Jail for Publishing Historic Photo

GERMANY – A district court in Munich earlier today sentenced the German journalist Michael Stürzenberger to six months in jail and an additional 100 hours of charitable work for publishing this photo in his Facebook timeline.
It shows a Nazi and Amin al-Husseini, the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, shaking hands in 1941 in Berlin.
Along with the photo, he had written a review of an article in the Süddeutsche Zeitung, ‘Hakenkreuz und Halbmond’ (“Swastika and Crescent Moon”) about the National Socialists’ admiration for Islam, and mentioned his own review [of that Süddeutsche article in PI-News].
For this post, in particular the photo, the court found Stürzenberger guilty of “disseminating the propaganda of anti-constitutional organizations”.
The prosecution had accused Stürzenberger of “inciting hatred towards Islam” and “denigrating Islam” by publishing the photo. A superficial onlooker, the prosecution argued, could not know that this black and white photo in Stürzenberger’s timeline was a historical document.
According to PI-News, the sentence might be handed down as a suspended sentence for three and a half years.

I was warning Lera that the same fate could be suffered for daring to post an article about the journalists predicament in Germnay.

That’s what this German journalist was doing....TEACHING (reminding) HISTORY!
And, for that lesson of FACTUAL history, he receives a prison sentence.
It’s to bad that they don’t take their union with Islam seriously especially with Germany’s history of siding with Islam (the Grand Mufti ) and murdering Jews along with anyone that tried to protect them.
They are at it again . Again they stand against the Jewish people and side with their enemies . This time the enemies of the Jews will be their enemies too. They’ve in the barbarians and they really can not barbarians to act like anything but barbarians.
If it’s not safe for a Jewish person to walk your streets it not safe for any decent person either . No decent person is safe around a hoard of people who view a rapist , thief and murderer as the perfect man.

It was the German involvement in arming the Grand Mufti in an attempted coup in Iraq that eventually brought Saddam Hussein to power in Iraq years later. Even though the coup failed at the time it brought Saddam’s family and the mufti together in Egypt .
LOL. Do you accuse me of profiling? I three-quarters deny it.
BTW - Ernst Röhm (open homosexual) and Ernst Kantorowicz (Jewish founding Nazi member) are both very interesting characters of Nazi history in my opinion. Anomalies of their perfect order.
