Several journalists mocked first lady Melania Trump's choice of shoe as she and President Trump departed the White House on Tuesday en route to Texas.
The first lady wore black cropped pants, a green bomber jacket, and black stilettos as she exited the White House for Marine One.

I thought she looked fabulous and deliberately appropriate in her choice of color. Bright colors and flamboyant prints would have been inappropriate on a mercy mission, which is what this is.
After all, as we learned last night from the Meagan Leavey movie, even US Marines wear stiletto heels (or high heeled boots) when they are out of uniform! See that movie. It was GREAT!

At this point, she’s likely more comfortable in them than in any other type of shoe. Her feet must be shaped like them or something.
The First Lady looks awesome. When she goes to events she always looks fantastic. Love the jacket. I want one.
