Bull spit. We need to get our own people off the couch.
Or maybe out of the weight rooms, rec rooms and cell blocks of our prisons and min security facilities.
I agree with number 1. The last time I checked, Houston had no shortage of immigrant workers.
So Reuters is advocating the use of unlicensed contractors
[De Leon, 47, owns a small construction business in Houston, and he and his 10 employees do exactly the kind of demolition and refurbishing the city will need. But like a large number of construction workers in Texas, De Leon and most of his workers live in the United States illegally, and that could make things complicated. ]
Owns a construction business but is here illegally.
Where is the accountability in construction labor with no name/ID? When the roof leaks, the electrical system fritz, etc?
No one from America does construction anymore?
Something that Reuters is well known for
For the gazillionth time...nobody had a problem with legal immigration or legal guest workers.I don`t know why this is so hard for the left to comprehend.
I wouldn’t be surprised if this douchebag is deported by the end of the day.
How much money does he send back HOME to Mexico?
Actually, if some folks would just fill out the proper paperwork and be willing to do things legit....plenty of Latino non-Americans could get the work-visa...get driven up to Houston for three or four months of active work, pay fair taxes, get legit hourly rates, and be all legal. It surprises me that just about everyone wants the non-work-permit Latino to exist....when it is fairly easy to get the work-visa.
Don’t worry, Congress is passing a bill on H-2Bs that will allow employers to cut their salaries. So not only will Houston contractors be able to bring them in, they’ll be able to pay them less.
Not with Sylvester Turn and Kim Ogg.
There are many able bodied men hanging around in the inner cities here in the northeast. Lest this sound racist, all ethnicities are represented. Since Section 8 housing is always found nearby, one can logically deduct that these are on welfare.
A program could be set up that one must work to receive the welfare, and why not help construction in Houston in the rebuilding effort as the work program?
We do not need illegals.
Young elitist #FakeJourn-O-Lists editorializing for Reuters
They find one guy who might, might have been part of the cleanup and magnify it like it would oh-so-matter in a massive clean up and rebuild
When the real story these illegals won’t be taking jobs from REAL Americans who need the work
And can do the job better anyway
Legal Americans of all races will step up to rebuild Houston and other
affected areas.
Agree. Every damn SF A team has two DEMO men better then these illegal wannabes.
Globalists want to put illegals first for jobs to push down more and more of “We The People”
