With ‘good woman,’ did Donald Trump just help Democratic Sen. Heidi Heitkamp get reelected
Washington Post ^ | September 6, 2017

This is not a story you'd expect to read in 2017, but it happened: President Trump went to North Dakota on Wednesday and praised its Democratic senator, who is up for reelection next year, as a “good woman."

"Come on up, senator," Trump told a crowd at an oil refinery in Mandan, as he had a called up some of the state's elected officials, all of them Republican, save Sen. Heidi Heitkamp. "These are great people. They work hard. They’re for you 100 percent."

Looking at this as nothing more than trying to bring cohesiveness to the entire mess he has inherited, saying she is a “Good Woman”, to me means she is someone with some integrity, unlike sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo damn many of the other senators and congress fools. Yes she is a demodummie but perhaps “salvageable”. I’m not going to worry too much about his statement. Again, media trying to make something out of NOTHING.

This will certainly help Heitkamp, but she may have already placed a hold over ND voters, who are not as conservative as their reputation.

When the President visits a state and he’s not on a campaign trip, it’s his job to be cordial to all the local elected officials, regardless of party. And for all that we talk about partisan battles, a huge part of what happens in Washington is non-partisan or bi-partisan or cross-party in character. Perfectly possible for a Democratic Senator to do a good job, while at the same time hoping she’s replaced by a Republican who can do a better job.

ILlary got 27% of the vote in North Dakota and my guess is that Heitkamp understands that. You can be sure that DJT does.

President Donald J. Trump is a promise-breaker in the truest sense of the word, and it’s up to us—his army of deplorables—to provide our blood, sweat, tears, and loyalty no matter how much he abuses us.

There. Fixed that for you.

Ditto.

As Sean Hannity told some Republican Senator the other day, “your party sucks.”

These people have done NOTHING to support Trump, or the agenda of the people who sent him there. If Trump has to work with Democrats to try to get something done - good for him. I couldn’t care less.

Don’t need another party. Dims and gope would love that. Need to continue the takeover of the pub party. Let the remnants run to dim party.

She’s supposed to be the easiest GOP senate pickup in 2018, given that Trump won her state by 36 points.

So I take this as a shot across Mitch’s bow to start cooperating or see Trump muck up some GOP senate races next year.

Again, the overlapping liberal Democrats in Trump’s family and admin must be pleased.

Let Secret Congressional Staffer explain to it you:
“ The job of the Republican Congress is to off load health care costs off corporate books to the U.S. taxpayers, shift the tax burden to the middle class and away from corporate entities, allow unrestricted immigration and expanded work visas to keep wages at proper levels and compel the U.S. taxpayer to subsidize our labor importation program with unrestricted social spending. The Democrats will work with us because it changes the demographics of the nation and sets up a new entitlement class while our donors can reduce labor costs and we can increase immigration at any time to off set any increase in labor costs should that occur. The plan would have worked perfectly under President Hillary Clinton as we could have play acted against these things and told the base we did everything we could but couldn't overcome the Democrat opposition. If Jeb Bush or Marco Rubio were to have won then we could have implemented the agenda as a great compromise with Democrats and with friendly media providing the proper narrative allow us to keep moving forward. The problem now is you have an armature like Donald Trump in the Presidency so the best we can do right now is to stall everything he wants to do and with our friends the Democrats and the media portray him as inept and ineffectual due to his not being a member of the political establishment and maintain a holding action until someone reasonable can be restored to the White House once again!”

“Yeah...According to you fanboys”

He’s accomplished more in 8 months than you NeverTrump Mitch-n-Ryan fans have done in 24 years.

Put more effort in directing you righteous hot air into getting those supposed republicans to get off their ass, and maybe he wont have to cut deals.

But that’s too HARD. Better to continue as professional complainers, and keep sending back RINOS to congress.
