No, they dont know and really dont want to know. Every time Gowdy is mentioned on this site, the clueless wonders attack one of the only dedicated congressman we have. They dont care either that it was his committee that identified the previously private secret servers.
How many referrals for prosecution has Gowdy made to the DOJ? None, zip, zero, nada. A second year law student could get a conviction on Clapper for perjury.
That would be why he didnt pass the bar exam. If you put a person with Top Secret clearance under oath in a PUBLIC hearing he is allowed and expected to NOT DISCLOSE secret information. This is what circumstance Clapper was in. Never ever get any form of conviction. Bet on it.
