Football itself is a great sport. It is an American icon.
Soccer not so much.
At this time Football in the incarnation of the NFL is more of a co-opted sport media money making vehicle to spread the socialist propaganda and suck out tax payer dollars.
What this protest actually is, is a direct attack on our “American sport”, hence “America” and if you take it to the extreme they aim to capture the flag and anthem as well.
