Trump drives the leftist cultural machine crazy, just by being himself

Agreed, he's flushing the America haters right into the street and their walking right in front of the oncoming bus - how sweet it is.

To put it more simply, Trump may or may not support Judeo-Christian aspects of the culture war (abortion and homosexual marriage being the twin poster children), but he supports Americanism aspects of the culture war, and in this he is joined by a majority of the American people. As ashamed as I am to admit it, it is easier to convince Americans to honor the flag than it is to honor marriage or the lives of the preborn.

Every kneeldown assures him of more supporters, and less for the ESPN/NFL industrial complex.

Trump has been gaining new twitter followers at the rate of 100,000 a day, for the last 3 days (when I started looking at that number).

Today it is up to 39.4 million.

Trump is very good at getting people to reveal who they really are.

I don’t know if, or believe that, this will hold true for the long term. But one good side effect of this, for now, is that the left is undermining its own major propaganda platforms. If only we could get academia back.

After the NFL comes MLB and NHL, they seem to want to follow this path.
Wonder how long before this social war becomes not so civil.

Trump is a Godly man, and even he doesn't realize it. He just does what he does and in response the DEVIL has been stirred in anger and has revealed itself for all to see. Trump awoke our EVIL MEDIA for all to see and now they are having ratings problems like NEVER before.

Trump is an agitator who raises the dark side of evil forces. Thank God we have a president who has awakened America to all the EVIL trying to destroy it.

Subsidizing the NFL with tax dollars is no different than funding ACORN. Both organizations are politicized for leftist causes, promote identity and tribal politics, and despise normal Americans. #DefundNFL

My wife and I discovered Amazon Prime late last year. On it we discovered the entire Petticoat junction series for free. Every four episodes we watch is a new movie we didn’t watch.

Weird thing is that I noticed that time is not very kind to a lot of those older shows, but this one is a gem. Maybe we have low expectations, but we find we really enjoy watching it.

I’m sure there are others.

It is.

The left has over the past 4 decades, gained near total control of education (via their unions and grants to cronies), popular culture (movies and music), and the media (cable and broadcast TV). Only the internet, talk radio, and a few other aspects of our culture remain center-right, or at least somewhat balanced. Until recently, professional sports was one of the latter, where people of different political stripes could at least gather over a beer and cheer for the team they both love.

Given the tools at their disposal, it’s not surprising that the left started by weaponizing sports talk via their wholly-owned subsidiary, ESPN. Having achieved some success there (ESPN moving further to the left all the time), they’ve not turned to the players themselves. Many of whom (if we’re honest) are not smart enough or sufficiently educated to think beyond doing what they are told).

How do we win a culture war? Same way the left hopes to win against Trump: “RESIST”. We need to be at least as good at standing up (literally) for traditional values as they are at opposing capitalism, traditional man-woman marriage, revising history, and smearing their opponents with charges of racism, sexism, etc.

Are we up to the challenge?

So Øbama fans the flames of racial divide for 8 years but it is all Trump's fault. It is time that this gets brought to a head yet we must be careful not to play into hidden agendas of tearing down our cherished institutions. In his disappointing remarks in support of his protesting NE Patriots, Robert Kraft succinctly described the problem (the first step in solving: identification). He said:
There is no greater unifier in this country than sports, and unfortunately, nothing more divisive than politics.
Eggszactly! But what is it his players and all the BLM sympathizers doing? Injecting politics into sports! And he supports it despite his statement! Steelers owner Rooney thought he could finesse the issue by holding his players off the field, not recognizing their departure from normal form was, in fact, a political statement as well.

And ESPN was doing the same thing prior to all this Anthem business. And Hollywood prior to that. Just substitute entertainment in place of sports for the latter.

I just pray that our predictable outrage is not playing into a more sinister agenda to completely tear down our culture.

What angers me the most about this whole debacle is when people on the left say this is not about disrespecting our country but about bringing attention to social issues regarding race and policing or just social issues in general. Really?

If that’s true, then why did the Ravens kneel for the national anthem and rise for God Save the Queen? After all, if it is not disrespectful then stay kneeling!! If they did stay kneeling, how does the left think the UK would have reacted? They would have gone bonkers, that’s what. There would be talk of never having an NFL game played in England again!!

Doing anything other than standing and facing the flag for the national anthem has always been a sign of disrespect to the flag and by extension to this country. When Kapernick originally started this, at least he was honest and said he didn’t respect a country that could treat their minorities the way we do (paraphrase).

We can have a conversation about race, about perceived police brutality within the Black community, but if that’s your intention you have gone about it the wrong way. How many of these NFL players kneeling this weekend have gone on a ride along with the police? How many have attempted to foster good relationships with the police in their area and talk to them about treatment of minorities?

All of the Hollywood giant companies like Viacom and the others are OWNED and RUN by China. That is why we have been seeing over the years the movies portraying the Chinese rescue of Americans in a lot of adventure/sci-fi movies, and other Chinese glorification. Stopped going to the theater a few years ago except for certain compelling rare movies.
