Puerto Rico was devastated by Hurricane Irma and then Hurricane Maria a category 5 monster hurricane two weeks later.
Most of the leadership in Puerto Rico praised and thanked the government for the much needed aid.
But the far left San Juan Mayor Caren Yuliz Cruz Soto decided on Friday the best way to help those suffering was to go out on all of the liberal mainstream news outlets and trash President Trump.
San Juan Mayor: “I’m mad as hell because my people’s lives are at stake… We are dying, and you (Trump) are killing us with inefficiency”
The San Juan mayor accused FEMA and President Trump of offering her no help. She said this in front of a pallet of US aid.
On Saturday FOX News contributor Geraldo Rivera interviewed Mayor Cruz and then tweeted this.

San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz is a staunch Democrat who supported Hillary Clinton during the 2016 election.
On Tuesday President Trump visited Puerto Rico to observe the hurricane damage and relief updates.
The far left San Juan Mayor is in the room scowling at the US president.
She looks annoyed and did not look at him.

We all know what he meant. We all know what Todd Akins meant when he talked about "legitimate rape". But what he meant and what he said sound like two different things. And the Democrats will use it against him.
Well then if what happened to Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands wasn't a real catastrophe then what was it?
People who do nothing criticize people who do a lot for not doing everything.
They should check with the Haitians to see how to get some aid from the Clinton Foundation.

The president saw a gaping difference in the Katrina death count as a “real catastrophe”, compared to miraculously low death count of PR, referencing the obvious (to most) in loss of life.
This shouldn’t be rocket science complexity. TRUMP was right and your try at apples and shoes is kind of bizarre.

I just get a little sick of people putting words in his mouth. We don’t all know what he meant. Perhaps if we want to know, we should ask him instead of jumping to conclusions (the media). I agree the dems will use it against him but they use EVERYTHING against him. After all the work he has done and gratitude he has received for his handling of the crisis, they will seem petty for criticizing his wording. He has always been known for his actions and rarely for his words. We expect the media to attack regardless of what he says or does. It’s what they do. Frankly, many have tuned them out already.

Think of all the US dollars lost when they closed Roosevelt Roads, Fort Buchanan. Fort Allen and a few others on PR and then closing the Marine operation and Navy ammo supply area on Vieques. Those federal dollars along with all of the PR employees out of work and supporting businesses closed. Very sad.
If the US takes on the resurrection of the island under President Trump, the leaders will surface.
