We all know what he meant. We all know what Todd Akins meant when he talked about "legitimate rape". But what he meant and what he said sound like two different things. And the Democrats will use it against him.

I just get a little sick of people putting words in his mouth. We don’t all know what he meant. Perhaps if we want to know, we should ask him instead of jumping to conclusions (the media). I agree the dems will use it against him but they use EVERYTHING against him. After all the work he has done and gratitude he has received for his handling of the crisis, they will seem petty for criticizing his wording. He has always been known for his actions and rarely for his words. We expect the media to attack regardless of what he says or does. It’s what they do. Frankly, many have tuned them out already.
