New York Times’ Cowardly Hit Piece Proves How Much They Fear Ben Shapiro
LOUDER With Crowder ^ | FRIDAY OCTOBER 13 2017 | COURTNEY KIRCHOFF

Posted on 10/16/2017 12:17:38 PM PDT by TBP

We’re coming to the end of a slew of Jewish holidays, today being Shemini Atzeret. Ben Shapiro, being a devout Jew, is unable to use technology, with holidays treated as the Sabbath. Ergo he cannot reply to criticisms leveled against him. A perfect time for The New York Times to conveniently drop an OpEd titled “The Hollow Bravery of Ben Shapiro.”

Pro-tip: if you’re going to accuse someone of “hollow bravery,” post your hit piece when the subject can respond. Lest anyone call you, or your organization, cowards. Blatant, obvious cowards.

A note before we continue: I beg for your indulgence, as it’ll take a few paragraphs to lay appropriate character foundations; it’s important to know who is accusing Ben Shapiro of “hollow bravery” before addressing the qualms directly. Goes to relevance.

Firstly, lemme state that I (note the byline) do not personally know Ben Shapiro. Nor — it’s clear — does Jane Coaston, the author of the aforementioned OpEd in The New York Times. As of the writing of this post, Ben Shapiro and I have never spoken. What I know of Ben is from what I’ve gleaned through his debates and speeches (on campus, network news appearances, stand alone YouTube videos), his OpEds and essays posted on across the net (Brietbart.com, Dailywire.com, NationalReview.com, etc), and his Twitter account.

Which means I know more about Ben’s work than Jane Coaston.

People to your right are liberal Democrats. Whatever.

Ben was a huge prick after awhile it had nothing to do with Trump and everything to do with what a doche he had become.

As for life in the ever Trump bubble ... it feels like winning to me.

Ben respects no ones opinion other than his own - which is often wrong - just like Medved.

“Am I willing to risk a Hillary presidency not to vote for Trump? The answer is yes. “ Thanks a pant load Ben.

It’s also called Never-Trump. You made your choice. Stop complaining when that choice is accurately characterized.

At least Shapiro admitted he preferred Hillary over Trump. Some try to have their cake and eat it too.

But the position, as you well stated, remains contemptible. If being a conservative means anything it should mean opting for Trump over Hillary. Otherwise it’s just dishonest word games.

Speaking of principles. I have those too. When it comes to the USA, here’s how my principles play out. I will do everything I can to prevent the country from falling into the clutches of a sick, angry, hate-filled Leftist who would have finished the job Obama started. After four years of Hillary there would have been no USA left to save. I voted to keep the sociopathic conservative-hater out of the Oval Office. That’s the principle that will save what’s left of the Republic.

"That’s called having a conscience."

It's called "idiocy."

Cruz got crushed in the primaries, so you took a knee. Thanks.

Trafficante was the same way. I didn’t believe a thing he espoused but man did he call a spade a spade when he knew his party was wrong

Ben made a complete fool of himself with that Michelle Fields debacle, and that was AFTER his daily non-stop Trump bash on his RINO radio show. If there’s a wrong horse to back, Ben isn’t far behind.

He should just change his name to Ben Schlemiel.

I sat out the general election for a couple of reasons, but mostly because - yes - I could not stomach supporting a candidate who didn’t support my values.

You must have been devastated when President Trump removed the Birth Control Mandate in Obamacare a few days ago. No thanks to people like you of course.

It’s wonderful that you feel fulfilled and that your candidate of choice won. I bet you’re expecting grand things over the next 3 years. Let me know how that works out for you.

I am quite sure that any of the 17 Republicans running last year would have done the same. Also quite sure that most of them were conservatives.

There was plenty of reason not to trust him given his long history of being on the left, including on many issues just before he announced for President - he was for amnesty just weeks before announcing - and had blasted Romney for being too tough on immigration and blamed Romney’s loss on it - as just one example. There were many other issues he did an seemingly all too convenient and instantaneous 180 degree turn on - I simply did not believe a word he was saying and so did many others. He’s proven us wrong on many fronts that this sudden conversion was, in fact, genuine - or, at least, he knows he made those promises to us and he is trying to keep most of them. The judges he is appointing are some of the finest jurists ever appointed by any President in history. That cannot be denied. If he and this dysfunctional Senate can get a substantial number of them confirmed that alone would make his presidency a success in my book. That’s why it is imperative we keep control of the Senate in 2018 if for no other reason - Dems would not even give them a hearing or vote.

Yeah I have that problem too, working on it - reality seems to be a good cure for me. I find Trump much more creative then Ben and seems to have a better crystal ball (he pays for information I think). Of course there is quite a difference in age and income.

Ben was mean/rude to his audience/fans and he didn't need to be and just got more entrenched as time went on. Perhaps thats why I got so pissed at him it seemed personal.

The thing about politics I attach myself to ideas that while I might share them, those political positions ideas are not all that defines who I am as a person and I find I take an attack on ideas or some wanker politician as a personal attack. I try to be conscious of that and I've noticed I'm not the only one who does this, in fact I think its common.

Hopefully as time goes on we can all hang out again. Be well Valin
