6 examples of Jeff Sessions' cowardice

Exclusive: Larry Klayman flays Trump's AG for allowing corruption to continue at DOJ!

As I chronicle in my autobiography, “Whores: Why and How I Came To Fight the Establishment!” I was once a proud trial lawyer in the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ). Indeed, as a young 27-year-old attorney in the Reagan DOJ, I was on the trial team that eventually broke up the AT&T monopoly, creating needed and innovative competition in the telecommunications industry. During my time at Justice, I worked closely with special agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the investigative arm of the Department. I found them to be generally straightforward and honest people. However, as I discussed in my latest column and in my book, I did find that politics and the so-called “right” connections frequently perverted other cases at my alma mater. That ultimately is why, in large part, I conceived of and founded Judicial Watch on July 29, 1994, to be the People’s Justice Department, untainted by the ever-growing reptilian swamp in the nation’s capital and specifically its government law enforcement and legal communities.

Today, 23 years after I started Judicial Watch, and 13 years after I also founded Freedom Watch – which now does the heavy legal lifting I used to do at Judicial Watch – the politicized state of DOJ and the FBI has grown to cancerous proportions, underscoring the need for a Freedom Watch. Let me give you a rundown of just how corrupted the DOJ and its FBI have become.

First, one need not look much further than the current state of affairs, even under new Attorney General Jeff Sessions. Running scared that the AG himself ..

I hope you’re right about that resignation letter. I have repeatedly argued that Trump would face a steep challenge in firing Sessions. The uproar over Frederica Wilson’s Trump attack cemented that idea. Take the MSM’s Wilson-hysteria and amplify it by a factor of 100, and you’re close to what would erupt if Trump fired Sessions.

Still it’s going to have to happen. Sessions is a hopeless AG. He needs to be gotten out of that job for the good of the country. It’s imperative.

Exactly. The only good monopoly. If there is anywhere a monopoly needs to exist it is communication. In the old days, phones etc. All worked, were immediately fixed by company when didn’t and greased the wheels of the culture. We whirred. Now we stutter.

CINC *can* shift around cabinet members. Fire Sessions, move Kris Kobach and let him indiscriminately start firing everybody.

If this would work, it sounds great.

What did he actually accomplish as senator? Was he like most who talked a good game but ended up sending strongly worded letters?

I find it very, very difficult to believe that Sessions is this much of a dud. Everyone had glowing reports when he was appointed - brave, man of law, not afraid to go against the flow, etc. I am as anxious as anyone to see something done to these criminals, but something in me says Sessions is NOT going to disappoint. He’s working on things and everything, including timing, as to be spot on. I sure hope so - otherwise he’s the biggest let down of all.

If he can’t do the job he should resign. If he won’t do it, Trump should replace him.
I suppose then he would appoint another Mueller investigation to look into his firing.
What a disappointment Jeff Sessions has been as AG. He hasn’t done jack.

Yes... I agree.

So far all I’ve heard him say is what he’s not going to do.
What exactly are we holding our breath waiting for old Jeff to do?

The most Sessions accomplished as a senator was, as you anticipated, talk. He spoke against illegal immigration. With so many senators gung-ho for flooding the US with illegals, perhaps even the talking did some good. (Or not; who knows?)

Apart from that, I can’t name any of Sessions’ senatorial accomplishments. Perhaps someone from AL could...provided there are any.

I have noted elsewhere that Sessions lied straight up on the campaign trail. He said that Cruz singlehandedly prevented amnesty. Totally false. Amnesty passed with ease in the Senate, and would have passed in the House except for Brat’s upset win over Cantor.

“Does he not fathom that history will eviscerate him?”

No; it won’t. History lessons, books, etc., are written by libs who started their revisionist fiction 15-20 years ago. Sessions won’t pay any price when it comes to his legacy; he’ll be just fine and come out smelling like a rose.

Leftists lost their monopoly on the news/press a while back. Day by day their influence wanes. Their lies and bias became overwhelming, and alternative news sources became readily available.

History writing is going the same route. The legions of homeschoolers do not patronize the standard textbooks. Some of our better reporters-columnists put out occasional historical books as well. Year by year the Leftist monopoly on history is eroding.

There will be books written about the Trump presidency. Many will be written by conservatives. And Sessions will be trashed—and worse—in most of them.

I am also hoping that somehow Rudy Giuliani is working for Trump behind the scenes. He was much too supportive of him to just disappear. Too valuable when it comes to a pit bull.

I hope you’re right, and I do see the possibilities. My three nephews are home schooled and are learning the truth. As public schools become more and more insane I see more parents removing their kids and finding alternatives in home schooling, church schools, etc. It’s possible that we will win the fight, but it’ll be a fight for sure.

so he is Trump’s mistake.

I AGREE.. and I'll add that if Trump runs for a 2nd term and is NOT elected it will be because of Sessions and the DOJ FAILING to deliver justice to the Clintons, Comey, etc.
