Consent due to coercion is what it would be considered if they even entertained the consent claims at all.
In other words, their judgement is farally flawed and they don’t need their jobs as tge power they were entrusted with is beyond their meager mental faculties.

Irrelevant. Even if she's the sexiest thing on two legs, this 18-year-old was under arrest. In a police van. That is, a prisoner. Under restraint. There's nothing like consent here, not even analogous, not even close, no matter what she said or did.

That would be coercion whether she ‘consented’ or not. The cops are proven bad actors as evidenced by the DNA kit. They do not deserve the benefit of the doubt in the court of public opinion. I believe the girl.

The bottom line is: as a person in custody she is not in the category of persons who CAN legally consent, any more than if she were a "consenting" comatose person or a "consenting" 12-year-old.
She cannot legally consent.

Girl may have been nervy enough to bring up the idea as a way to get out of her troubles by making a lot of trouble for the cops once they did the deed.

Hookers negotiate prices all the time.........Not surprising that the article never mentioned the reason the hooker...oops, I meant the young lady,... was arrested for......
With that being said, the cops are dumbasses for having sex with the chick and not paying her. The least they could have done was let her go.........
