It is "extremely likely" that human activities are the "dominant cause" of global warming, according to the most comprehensive study ever of climate science by U.S. government researchers.
The climate report, obtained by NPR, notes that the past 115 years are "the warmest in the history of modern civilization." The global average temperature has increased by about 1.8 degrees Fahrenheit over that period. Greenhouse gases from industry and agriculture are by far the biggest contributor to warming.
The findings contradict statements by President Trump and many of his Cabinet members, who have openly questioned the role humans play in changing the climate.
"I believe that measuring with precision human activity on the climate is something very challenging to do," EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt said in an interview earlier this year. "There's tremendous disagreement about the degree of impact."
That is not consistent with the conclusions of the 600-plus-page Climate Science Special Report, which is part of an even larger scientific review known as the fourth National Climate Assessment. The NCA4, as it's known, is the nation's most authoritative assessment of climate science. The report's authors include experts from leading scientific agencies, including the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, NASA and the Department of Energy, as well as academic scientists.
The report has been submitted to the Office of Science and Technology Policy at the White House. Trump has yet to choose anyone to run that office; it remains one of the last unfilled senior positions in the White House staff.

When I reported earlier this year on the 58 scientific papers published in 2017 that say global warming is a myth the greenies’ heads exploded.
Since then, that figure has risen to 400 scientific papers.
Can you imagine the misery and consternation and horror this is going to cause in the corrupt, rancid, rent-seeking world of the Climate Industrial Complex?
I can. It will look something like this.

Bull shit. It’s impossible to come up with a statement like that. Even if inadvertently wholly or partially true...so freaking what? It always warms after each ice age and we regulahrly have 10-20 degree temperature changes overnight! Holdover Obama pukes need to be weeded out.

Global warming started over 20,000 years ago and it is ongoing.

Sure does not feel like AGW in Minnesota right now. Temps are about 15 degrees below average and have been so for a week now. The forecast looks like more of the same coming.

We got our first snow of the season last night. Cold weather is two weeks earlier than usual, though it is supposed to warm back up again (to seasonal temperatures) in a week to ten days.

That reminds me. In 2013, I think, Obama got a law passed to allow non-news content, aka propaganda, to be broadcast internally in the U.S. It didn’t dawn on people to remove NPR at that point as there was no longer a distinction between external and internal broadcasts as to content.
Over 115 years. OK, how reliable are the records from the first 75 years or so of that period? How do you account for the proven fudged numbers and the selective deletion of out-of-the-agenda numbers used in the proven inaccurate computer programs? As documented by climate "scientists" in their own emails?
Shut down that whole department, and redirect its budget to THE WALL!
Here at the Jersey Shore we are warmer than normal for this time of year, but supposed to be back to normal by tomorrow. I can live just fine with mid 70s in early November.
