Was the attack on Rand Paul at his home politically motivated?
Against Crony Capitalism ^ | 11/6/17

So this guy allegedly attacks Rand Paul while Rand is cutting his grass. Paul suffers 5 broken ribs. And now the alleged assailant is out on $7500 bond? He allegedly tackled and assaulted a US Senator.

$7500?

(From Vanity Fair)

On Sunday, however, Paul‘s chief of staff told The Washington Post that the injuries the senator sustained were much more severe than initially disclosed: five of his ribs are cracked, his lungs are bruised, and the pain is “considerable” enough that Paul could be unable to fly for some time, potentially upending the upcoming tax-reform debate in Congress.

Days later, it remains unclear why the assailant—Paul‘s 59-year-old neighbor, Rene Boucher—attacked the senator in the first place. Jim Bullington, a former city commission member who knows both men, told the Post that the two, who live next to each other in their gated community, often engaged in heated exchanges about politics; Boucher is a vocal anti-Trump socialist, according to Bullington, while the libertarian Paul voted against an Obamacare repeal attempt because it didn’t go far enough in severing federal aid. The F.B.I. is investigating the incident, according to the Lexington Herald-Leader.

I suspect if they were Bernie Sanders’ clippings there would be a lot less rage.

“...while Rand is cutting his grass.”

After seeing the houses, I’m surprised anyone in that neighborhood cuts his own grass.

Maybe Paul was cutting down the neighbor’s “grass”, although, Paul is a Libertarian.

Of course. Arguing is one thing, breaking ribs comes from really strong anger.

Rand should have him served with a no-contact order holding him to 1000 yards. That would effectively evict him from his house.

Very true. My fear is that it will be up to the people to fix this issue. The RINOs are obviously are not up for the job.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Yes, we need warrior Republicans who will look the liberal fascist beast in the eye without flinching. The RINOs have to go, dinosaurs claiming their Darwin awards .

Honestly, I am never encouraged when I see that the FBI is investigating anything. They need to clean up their act.

They were probably just following the guidelines: $7,500 bond if you are accused of assaulting a Republican politician, $750,000 bond if you are accused of assaulting a Democrat politician.

He is a pain specialist. Think he didn’t think about how to inflict maximum suffering? He needs to be locked up for the maximum sentence.

So when a rat attacks you on your property it is a dispute? Absolutely no bias there.

Then you’re starting to fall for the smoke being blown by the mainstream media and the perp’s lawyer (likely being paid by Soros money, IMHO) to make you think this attack was motivated by ANYTHING BUT POLITICAL OBJECTIVES.

Look!! Squirrel

The Rats are commiting all the violent acts that they routinely accuse Tea Party and Trump voters of committing. This neighbor should be arrested for attempted murder of Senator Paul. Imagine if Hillary or Senator Warren were attacked in this manner, the MSM would lose their minds.....
