So only a RINO can win a statewide election? You are so full of it.
The bloodbath in the Virginia HoD maybe a foretaste of what is going to happen in the Ryan led House of Representatives in 2018. The GOPe is setting up for a disaster and could lose both the House and the Senate. The Uniparty would probably be satisfied with that and then they could get on with fully crippling or removing Trump.
Will that scenario happen in all HOR races? No, but the R will remain in the majority in the HOR.
Demograhics is destiny. In both Virginia and the US in general, years more of massive inflows of foreign nationals and multiculturalism on steroids is tipping the country further and further to the left. Trump is trying, but the Congress is hamstringing him at every turn. The Mueller endless investigation is also a weapon of the Uniparty to cripple him.
Free birth control for women and it that fails they can still kill their babies. Women wonder why men think they are selfish. PS Women are the majority voters and they do swing the elections.
Thats exactly how I feel. I love VA and hate seeing it go the way of CA.
You were right. I was wrong. I knew the demo was changing but not this much. Gillespie lost VBch by a lot. Sad.
No draw? The entire HOD was up for election. Gillespie got 150,000 more votes than Cuccinelli in 2013. He even got more votes than McAwful. The problem for the GOP is that Northam got 300,000 more votes than McAwful.
The GOP turned out in record numbers but it wasnt enough.
Better yet, don't give the DC Statehood crowd what they want, attach NoVa to DC, and deny the traitorous fedRAT parasites any Congressional representation.
And then FIRE THEM!
An enthusiastic, more polarized Virginia electorate gave Northam the win
Turnout, however, was the highest in 20 years for a gubernatorial race, five percentage points and 10 percentage points higher than the last two.
GOP turnout increased as well but not as much. The base didn't refuse to turn out for Gillespie at all, contrary to what many Freepers are saying.
The Dems are succeeding in whipping up hysteria among their base over Trump. It seems that Trump drove Democrat turnout through the roof, which is not a good sign for 2018.
