Recently, U.S. Senate candidate Roy Moore was accused of dating before he was married. How is this a crime? The females were 14 to 18 years old, and he was 32. Also, he got to "second base" with the 14 year old. Technically, no crime was committed, but people regard his behavior as inappropriate. In 2017, the combination of ages is considered wrong. Was it always wrong? Let us look at some history about appropriate ages.
In modern times, there have been many May-December marriages. Some examples come from President Trump. He married Ivana when he was 31 and she was 28. Later, he married Marla when he was 47 and she was 30. He married Melania when he was 59 and she was 35. The husband gets older, but the bride is always around 30 years old.
The king of robbing the cradle is probably Hugh Hefner. His wives on their wedding days were, in chronological order, 23, 27, and 26.
The biggest contrast in ages is probably when Anna Nicole Smith married J. Howard Marshall. They were 26 and 89.
The youngest bride age in a famous marriage is when the founder of Islam, Muhammad, married Aisha, who was six. They consummated when she was nine. Liberals dare not complain about this arrangement, lest they insult the "religion of peace."

Please remember that the mother was 33 and Moore was 32....and was at the Courthouse for a Custody Hearing....all public records. Then look up the weather.
I noticed that I could find no article with an actual date of the meeting on the bench.
There are benches inside the courthouse where the daughter could have waited while mother attended a custody hearing

If a 32 year old had sexual contact with a 14 year old, that was a crime, then and now. If he dated girls over 16, not a crime, and not unusual at that time. Moore seems to admit the latter, but denies the former.
Liars lie and the veil of time makes it easier to tell the lies because there is no real way to prove/disprove them. The election is in 30 days......that in itself tells us we need to push back hard because any "litigating and searching for 'facts'" just plays into the Left's slimy hands as they and the GOPe/RINOs join the fight to [prevent what scares them all - another real Conservative in the Senate...
There was a record company executive who had a successful marriage to his secretary despite the fact that he was 78 and she was 33 and 1/3.

The Moore accusations are ridiculous on their face as well as being outright lies.
So what if there was a court hearing on that particular day for the mother of the 14 yr old and Roy Moore happened to be there too, because he worked there! Gosh, what a coincidence. The girl works for the Democrats for God’s sake, and she has a history of making claims. How hard do you think it would be for the Democrats to cook up that story doing a little research? I don’t believe a word of it, especially because it doesn’t jive with conduct described by other girls he dated during the same period.
Why the hell aren’t we doing this type of research on our side? We wouldn’t have to make up lies like they do.

When the 50 year-old Bill Clinton - President Clinton - had sex with a 20 year-old intern, we were told it was fine and it was none of our business. We were even told it was a wonderful, liberating, empowering thing for a young woman to offer sexual favors to her middle-aged boss! Many feminists were officially okay with it, too! When Clinton was accused of rape, the leftists all said in unison that it was a private matter and how dare we ask about it. Just like before that, they put Ted Kennedy on a moral pedestal. The left has no credibility at all and we need to get rid of these timid, senile GOPe leaders who jump every time some hypocritical leftist says something.
In this day and age of emasculation of the male of the species, any activity in a relationship can comeback to haunt you. Teach your sons well never to be in a place or situation with a girl or woman they would not be proud to tell their mother about. Besides it is the right thing to do and maybe, just maybe one can avoid a “gotcha” situation down the road.
So Moore preferred the company of teen-aged girls. Creepy, but not illegal.

Judge Moore and I are almost contemporaries.
When I was a young man, there were two guiding lights in the wild world of women.
1) “Fifteen will get you twenty”, meaning, sex with a fifteen year old will carry a twenty year prison sentence.
2) “Jailbait”, meaning, an underage girl who could fool, well, a judge, as to her actual age.
In this case, it’s pretty obvious that the fourteen-year old (then) is making up a story to suit the times. If you delete her from the narrative, I’m not sure this is either a big deal or anyone’s business. When I was 30, I wasn’t interested in “adult teens”, but I know lots of guys who were, at least under the right circumstances, and it was no big deal.
And if he did, one time, nibble on jailbait, I don’t believe second base constitutes statutory rape, and, if he’s not guilty of that, he’s not guilty of anything.
