We’re paying for the FBI but they already spend a lot of their time working for the DNC.

Yes. The FBI is very corrupt and has no chance to reform. If it stays will only become more corrupt over time.

I’ve thought they should have been disbanded since they tried to railroad Richard Jewel. How do you take a hero who saved lives during a terrorist attack and try to publicly destroy him? Those people are evil.

Abolish this FBI and form a new one. Demand ethical behavior top to bottom.

In an amendment to the constitution, abolish the FBI and replace it with the Federal Association Group Service division. The head of this office would be elected by State Governors ONLY. Their charter would be to investigate and police government political corruption across all other branches of government.
Fire everyone on the 7th floor except the new director.
The FBI is a modern day Praetorian Guard - they protect the establishment and do their bidding.

I would say take the counter intelligence role away and give it to the military, like the British MI5. The crime lab and investigative stuff leave it alone. Every other function send it somewhere else.
