Former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton said the 2016 campaign was the first "reality TV campaign," bringing its own unique set of challenges.
"My opponent was the first reality TV candidate, and I was, for better or worse, the candidate of reality," Mrs. Clinton said in an interview that aired Wednesday on "The Hugh Hewitt Show."
She said that running after a two-term president of the same party also brought its challenges in the campaign, adding it was hard to argue she was an agent of change when she supported much of former President Barack Obama's agenda.
"If you are both the candidate defending a lot of the areas of agreement, but also putting forth an agenda for change, which is what I tried to do, it is often difficult to get the second part of that message through," Mrs. Clinton explained.

There are many terrible reasons for President Trump’s victory, but there are two things that were not a factor. First, Hillary was the perfect candidate; nothing she did harmed her candidacy in any way. Second, President Trump was the worst candidate imaginable; nothing he did helped his candidacy at all, except with racists, sexists, bigots, and the rest of the basket of deplorables.

That’s amazing for Juan, he almost never criticizes Rats.
It has been widely reported that Clinton wanted to run against Trump. I suspect her electron plan was to make a few campaign stops health permitting. Then trash whomever the eventual Republican candidate turned out to be. If it would have been Jeb, there would have been a dossier about him.

It really was worth listening to, especially if you haven’t had breakfast yet.
She said “no evidence” three times. It’s one of her favorite comments when asked about something and is something I listen for.
I think Hugh Hewitt did a commendable balancing job with this interview. Since it was about her book, “What Happened,” he was limited in scope.
It’s definitely worth your time to listen to, IMO.

Well, perhaps if Herself WAS less honest, it may have helped the campaign, but it is pretty hard to be less honest than Herself already was.
Remember, 70,000 votes shifted in the right places would have sealed it for Herself. Or at least forced a recount in several races.
And we all know that recounts ALWAYS help the Democrat. Just ask Al Gore about the Florida re-re-count.
