European Union: ‘Committed’ To Opening Borders to 75 Million Turkish Citizens as ‘Soon as Possible’
Breitbart ^ | 11-29-2017 | Liam Deacon

Posted on 11/29/2017 9:40:57 PM PST by blam

The European Union (EU) remains “committed to” giving, and is in the later stages of securing, Turkish citizens visa-free travel in the bloc, as well as handing an extra three billion euros to migrants in the nation by next year, a commissioner has said. The EU’s Commissioner for Migration Dimitris Avramopoulos explained that all elements of the migrant deal with Turkey were moving ahead, after Turkey agreed to stem the tide of Middle Eastern migrants in return for billions in aid and the opening Europe’s borders to Turks.

He made the comments to Turkish paper Hurriyet ahead of a visit to the nation. In a Turkish language version, he is quoted, according to a rough translation, as saying the deal in its “last level”.

Pressed on when he expects progress on visa-free travel, in the English version of the interview, Mr. Avramopoulos stressed that Ankara must “meet the remaining benchmarks”, including revisions to Turkey’s authoritarian anti-terror law.

“The EU is committed to fulfilling all elements of the EU-Turkey migration deal, including visa liberalization, and the bloc continues to encourage Turkey’s efforts to complete the delivery of all the outstanding benchmarks of the Visa Liberalization Roadmap as soon as possible,” he said.

Adding: “At this point in time, all parties must avoid whatever could undermine our cooperation and focus on mutual interests.”

My daughter married a guy from Turkey...caveat is that he is a Christian - a very western guy whose thriving business in Turkey was ruined by the terrorists because the tourists stopped coming. I really like him. If all Turks were like him no problem...but of course that isn’t the case.

“For me it wasn’t so much that he wanted to make a change, but the classless way he went about it.”

Agree 100%. Jerry Jones had every right to fire Tom Landry as he owned the team. All he had to do was ask Landry into his office an say he was going a different way with a different coach. Landry would have shook his hand and said, “I understand and will be with you to watch the team in your sky box next season.”

Landry found out he had been fired from the media while he was playing golf during the off season.

To me that was the day the NFL died. In addition Landry would have never put up with criminal thugs on his team even if they were outstanding players.

I miss Tom Landry. He was a man of standards!

I agree with your thoughts there.

My baptism of fire in pro sports came when the Dodgers failed to win the World Series in the late 80s.

The management let Garvey, Lopes, Cey, and Dusty Baker go. Of all people, they kept the moron short stop that Garvey had bailed out season after season, snagging his wild ass throws to first to make him look good in the stat books.

Bill Russell wasn’t worth the powder to blow him to hell, as a player.

They brought new guys in to play first, second, and third. They were gone in short order.

The team took a nose dive that lasted from the 1988 until this year 2017, when they returned to the World Series.

That took 29 years, because some half-wit decided to let the guys go that got him to the world series in 1974, 1977, 1978, 1981, and 1988.

I don’t like it much, when an owner decimates his team, to ‘get even’. IMO, O’Malley let his acquisitions/contracts guy destroy the team.

You replace a man or two each season for two or three years, thus ensuring continuity of quality ball.

It takes time playing as a team to gel. You can’t put nine guys on the field and expect them to play top baseball the first year. If you insert a new guy or two a year, you keep the quality of play up as the new guys get acclimated.

By the end of the third or fourth year, you have a full new team, and they’ll be playing at top performance.

Cutting the big names in one year, ensures you’ll have a rookie team for a long time.

In this case 29 years.

It’s numbskulls like this that destroy team spirit.

So the EU’s plan of using Syria as cover to flood the place with 500 million Muslims failed when Trump ended the Syrian civil war. So they’re going to use Turkey for the same purpose. Muslims will land in Turkey, be given Turkish travel papers and then onto the EU.

Some of us believe we are living in the time prophecies in Daniel 12. This is a third world war coming.

Europe’s ruling elite has flushed their nations down the toilet of Islam

None of the ruling elite have children, so they don’t care.

I see. Very interesting I didn’t know that. Yes it’s obvious the eu ruler types don’t care one iota about their countries.

I certainly believe they are acting on behalf of Satan.

This will be one of the ways the RC church will reestablish its primacy in world affairs.

Yep. Mixing muslims with anybody creates the same, ugly mess. There were reasons why other societies kept them literally at bay to protect civilization but they don’t teach history anymore so now we will have civil wars all over the world. Muzzies don’t mind, their holy book tells them to conquer the world for their evil ideology, so get ready to fight to the death, submit to second class citizenship or convert. That simple. Remember the world islam means to submit. Go tell everyone and make them aware. 1,400 years of an evil history is plenty to review, the history of islam.

This is the end of Europe. Go see the cathedrals and towers now, before the cathedrals turn into mosks and the towers are used to throw gays off of.
