I just felt an earthquake and checked the USGS. Sure enough:
Strength: 5.1
Time: 2017-11-30 21:47:30 (UTC)
Location: 39.184°N 75.378°W
Depth: 8.1 km
I’m just outside the northwest corner of Baltimore City. It was clearly an earthquake. My computer was shaking and my glass of water was vibrating. It went for about 10 seconds. I ran downstairs to ask if my wife and daughter felt it, and they didn’t. They were in the addition, with a different foundation. My son felt it, too.
About the same as the one a few years ago.
Furniture barely shaking for a few seconds.

I’m in Baltimore today....
I felt it in northeastern MD. And heard it.
I thought a heavy truck was going by the house.
I remember when an earthquake hit the DC-Baltimore area several years ago. There were aftershocks for several days afterwards. I remember about a week later, when there had been aftershocks in the middle of the night, hearing Laura Ingraham say on her radio show, “I felt the Earth move about 1 o’clock in the morning!”

We were cleaning out safes prepping to move to another building. Classified all over the desks. We just looked at each other and decided to stay in the building. Then security came and said lock the door and GTFO.
