Full Title above.
Makes zero sense.
This is the Cheap Labor Express striking back.
Franks was one of the few Arizona GOP not working for the Cheap Labor Express.
A) Gender-segregate the workplace!, or
B) HIRE UGLY FEMALES ONLY. Here's an example:
Is this: a) DemonRat House Rep. Rosa Delauro, or b) A member of the Rolling Stones?
He is probably about to be outed in the next wave of congressmen that had sexual harassment claims so he is copping to a lesser plea and getting out before the list goes public... now it makes sense...
Wheres the harassment in ask?
That has to be the most pathetic get-in-her-pants-pickup-line I have ever heard.
LOL. This guy gets points for originality. He should get a pass. What SJW can complain he was just trying to get a surrogate for his offspring?
Unusual? Creepy is more like it. Ask among your family, at your church, but not in the office, especially as an elected member of congress?! Bet these were young women in junior positions being asked by an elected member of congress. Yep, bet they were very uncomfortable.
Surrogacy? Whatever. He’s better off leaving the cesspit.
Politics is a scam and we’re suckers for playing.
Another former staffer with knowledge of the situation interviewed on Carlson said she thought it was odd but did not think it was anywhere near “harassment.” She thought he should not have resigned. She said Franks and his wife were having problems having kids and she thought he only discussed the possibility of surrogacy in general terms, did not specifically ask them to do it.
Damn, that is indeed creepy. Whatever happened to keeping workplace subject matter in the realm of business only?
Sorry, but “Hey, Sugar Pants. Wanna make a baby?” probably doesn’t qualify as “discussing surrogacy”.
In his statement, Franks said he never physically intimidated, coerced, or had, or attempted to have, any sexual contact with any member of my congressional staff.
His executive assistant was on tonight and said hes being railroaded. He never asked anyone to sleep with him. He asked two staffers if they would be interested in being a surrogate mother for him and his wife. Through artificial insemmination. It might sound weird but it damn sure aint sexual harassment and Paul Ryan needs to have his ass kicked for asking Franks to resign. Franks is probably the most conservative member of Congress and is the biggest advocate for the unborn in Congress. This is Ryan trying to purge conservatives that have stood up to him. I hope and pray that
Franks runs for the senate because hell be elected with 90% of the vote.
If, in fact, he asked two female staff members to be a surrogate mother to his children, then he needs to resign immediately resign, if only because he is too stupid to work in government, even among the stupid (and lazy). Any employer asking such a loaded questions deserves a trip to the proverbial wood shed, as well as a trip to the unemployment line.
When did Freepers become so gullible? Anyone can see Mr. Franks is being railroaded; even from way outside the beltway. He did nothing wrong so unless you are part of the GOPe swamp or a rabid dem; you really should not be talking like Franks is guilty or creepy of anything.
I’m speaking in general; not to anyone in particular.
there must be more then he is admitting to...this is inappropriate but it is not deviant or predatory in nature...I myself would give a pass on it. if it was an isolated incident.
His own wife should have told him that was not the way to do it. Go to an agency! Work with strangers, not people you could fire.
Why didn’t he say- “in the coming weeks”.
Honestly. No wonder they never get anything done in D.C. If they aren’t sitting and watching porn, they’re asking staffers to be “surrogates.” You have to give him some credit for coming up with a creative line.
