Yup, the POS is just playing another game right now..... he will wait to see if things cool off, and when Moore is elected watch Frankenstein and pals turn it into a kind of “expel both or neither” contest within the Senate.
NOT that there should be the slightest equivalency between false allegations against Moore and TRUE FACTS about Franken’s misconduct, but the libtards will try to paint them as equivalent.
If you look at how the election period is affecting Franken and the decision...I would suggest that he might wait until March.
The other senator...Klobuchar...is up for election in Nov of 2018.
Franken has to leave prior to 29 May 2018...if not, that gives the Governor the ability to appoint someone, and the special election is not until November 2019. The Gov is a Democrat so it’s a sure thing he’ll pick a Democrat.
I’ll go and even predict that the Gov (Mark Dayton, age 70) might go and select himself to fill out the term, and run in November.
Al Franken Is A Mean, Little Troll.
Franken was not elected - narrowly nor at all - to the Senate in the first place ... he cheated his way in with a series of car trunk votes "found" over weeks of legalistic delay.
Franken. Fraud. Fondler.
Always, he came across as a mean-spirited narciccist creep. Or in Shakespeare’s words, much ado about nothing. Typical lib.
Excellent piece. Franken is an unrepentant, vicious bully, who thought he would take a (possibly) parting shot that would be heard around the world, and shame both Roy Moore AND President Trump in the doing. But all he’s done is show himself to be graceless and uncouth. A humorless clown.
“according to research done by the Twin Cities Pioneer Press, his home state newspaper, his legislative career was weak.
Of Franken’s 141 pieces of legislation (85 bills, 47 amendments, and nine resolutions) none became law.”

I don’t see that as a bad thing at all.
Misleading article, he hasn’t resigned.
Needs to go.
Limbaugh says politics is Hollywood for the ugly.
Al is too ugly for either. Yes a troll. But we risk a defamation suit from The American Troll And Trollop Association,
“I dont see that as a bad thing at all.”
Neither do I, Louie. I’d take issue with the writer about the American people wanting their legislators to “do things that benefit them.” There are few win-win situations when writing legislation so if somebody benefits that means somebody else lost something. I’d say more Americans would be satisfied if their elected representatives just shut up, legislated minimally, and got the military funded to ensure national security.
Isnt mark dayton Gay?
It’s been said around the state but simply a rumor.
I think the one issue out there...is that possible stroke back in January of this year when he was delivering a speech. He’s never gone back to address his near-collapse in the middle of some speech there in the capital. But I think if you went talked to folks around the state, he’s likely one of the three people you’d suspect that would take the job, and run in the next election.
Frat-boy Franken. You know... potty mouthed Al.
Would frat-boy be responsible enough to escort someone’s drunken daughter home without molesting them? Would or could anybody seriously consider allowing Al the opportunity (enabling) an acceptable decision?
Al Franken has a mental disorder, and he HAS explained himself over the past few weeks. Al has stated that some women don’t mind a little grab-ass so it must (in his narrow mind) be acceptable behavior. It’s not Al. Diplomacy and statesmanship begs for matured decorum and not prankish foolsmanship. Al Franken is quite simply... a fool.
He tried on the big boy pants and they were too large.
I’d like to see him hang on and spite Pelosi and Schmoooooozer....he was their pet attack dog for a good while and they no longer find him useful.....except as a sacrifice “for the greater good of the real Dem royalty”.....
If the governor of Minnesota was a Republican Franken would not be resigning.
