The Dems and their accomplices in the GOPe try to sell every outcome as: "heads I win and tails you lose". If a Moore win is so good for the Dems, why is Doug Jones spending so much money?

No proof that Moore did anything he is accused of doing. Grow a pair, Lindsey. I know that might be impossible.

To clarify, if Moore is elected it will be far less safe for RINO’s to retain their do nothing offices. That is only a windfall for the Democrats if the pubbies can’t grow a pair and run people for office who will do what they promised.

That issue was successfully litigated by Trump last year. He faced an incriminating video and won anyway. The GOPe will be just a feckless and feeble in their handling of Moore as they will on every other issue. The party belongs to Trump now PERIOD.

And that is why the Democrats win. If Moore was a Democratic and won the nomination, the party would be backing him, the stories from the MSM would be short and on page 30 of section three. The only reason the Franken story became a real story was because of the photo.

If Moore was a Democrat, the DNC would say-”that happened 40 years, that is old news, move-on.”

Didn’t Strom Thurmond pick Lindsey as Thurmond’s successor?

I have no idea, but it sounds plausible.

Listen here you bumpkins, letting the Democrat get elected to the Senate is actually the only way the Democrats lose! You are just too darned stupid to understand the nuances here!

I’ve only once voted FOR a Democrat. It was in Graham’s last election. What difference would it have made if the Democrat had won?

There is a statute of limitations for some good reasons.

For one thing, it gets harder and harder over time to establish the facts of a case.

For another - as Hillary! disingenuously stated - “What difference, at this point, does it make? If the defendant has not reoffended in 30 years, why bother with it now?

That does not of course apply to murder, it applies with greater and greater force to lesser and lesser crimes. Apparently in Alabama in 1975 the age of consent was lower than it is now in, say, New York. That might easily explain and ameliorate any justification for outrage based on different mores than would have applied at the time and place in question. It is a fact that a lot of people will find young teen brides only three generations (or less) back in their family tree.

In Ireland in particular, men didn’t marry until they inherited their fathers’ farms - hence, “the fighing Irish” behaved a lot like teenaged boys well into their twenties. And marrying much younger brides was acceptable expected.

Finally, these accusations constitute an “October Surprise” intended to deprive the majority of voters of representation of their political preference. And the difficulty of proving or disproving them in a matter of weeks is on the accusers. If they had ironclad proof, that would be one thing. But of course they don’t, or they would have come forward decades ago if their rights had been egregiously violated. At least two elections ago . . .

We can’t thank South Carolina enough for its “gift”.

Unfortunately, it's the gift that keeps on giving. And it will until the SC legislature grows some cojones and dumps the law that allows RATS to cross over and vote for linda in the primary. linda could be around for a long time thanks to that law.

Moore win would be 'gift that keeps on giving' for Democrats...not if Republicans are strong enough in proclaiming that they do not endorse and will not tolerate lynch mob mentality and vigilante justice.....

Graham, do the research. Moore is innocent of all these false charges.
