‘The fact that we aren’t universally condemning this murder simply based on the fact that this does, indeed, appear to be STANDARD COP PROCEDURE shows that we are all slaves now.’
this is the quintessential post on this thread; how chillingly true...
Gee, that’s funny. Clinton’s democrat-socialist-communist ABCNNBCBS national press corpse celebrated Janet Reno’s use of tanks and armor against “innocent” men, women, and children inside a self-called Christian compound.
‘Then her FBI snipers killed several other Americans later.
Obola’s FBI and National Insecurity task forces labelled innocent white veterans and older males as terrorists .... Couldn’t find any Muslim terrorist though. Even though they were the ones shooting military targets in the US interior.
Your words were so spot on that I shared your post. I am shaken over this incident and the terror that Shaver endured
I watched the video. This was a pure execution by an idiotic, bloodthirsty, ‘roided out pig. No other description does it justice.
‘If people kept that in mind tragic and unnecessary shootings like this would not happen.’
right...some roid raged cop is screaming he’s going to execute me, and telling me to crawl towards him while keeping my hands visible the whole time, and my legs crossed for good measure, and you tell me how I f*cked up by not keeping in mind that the slightest deviation is going to get me killed...
some guys really take the cake...
Another big thank you to Arizona!
Is it the Dry heat that rots your brains?
Arizona, your on par with Chicago.
The cop is a murderer, plain and simple, and you are a SOB for defending this.
Isn’t it amazing how some people see the video and identify with the perp instead of the victim? Maybe this would be a good test for psychopathy.
In case there’s any confusion, the perp is the one who committed the murder. If anyone is going to argue that it wasn’t murder because the perp was not convicted then please defend OJ as well.
I am on the side with Maricopa County with the Daniel Shaver verdict and New York City with the Eric Gardner verdict and you are on the side of the Chicagos, Detroits, Baltimore and other hellholes where cops cannot do their job.
And I'm glad to stand where I stand.
‘And I’m glad to stand where I stand.’
‘cept that Shaver might just as easily have been you, or someone you love; not standing at all, but huddled in a mass on the floor with one crazed lunatic screeching at the top of his lungs about killing you, and another one with an itchy trigger finger looking to get his rocks off...I’m sure you’d be glad as hell about that...
really, for your own good; stop trying to justify the unjust...
Yep, instead of posting article after article on the same subject, day after day, with nothing new being said, these people need to start their own country and regulate the police in the way they see fit. Most of them are Libertarians who have been threatening to start their own state for decades but they never seem able to do it.
They are great at bitching and moaning about the imperfection of functioning states, though.
Who are you talkig about “these people”
What do you mean “ same subject day after day nothing new being psoted?” ...I was out of town past few days and just saw this. Jury returned a verdict on Dec. 7 and it is now the 11th.
Are you saying it is wrong to want some regulation of the force to be used by law enforcement?
I am truly confused by your comments.
Ruby Ridge and Waco sure proved it also
Cop got 12 years.
Yeah, I should have mentioned that. Nevertheless that was the worst one I had seen before this one.
And I pray they always remember that advise rather than the cheap 2nd guessing of split-second life-and-death decisions as found in the replies I'm receiving.
It shook me up too...
I had a family member hit by drunk driver—in that instance and all other presonal run-ins, the police have always been cordial and professional...but this officer was neither.
If an officer had been shrieking those commands at me with an AR 15, I absolutely know that I would be a crying, trembling, nervous wreck and likely be ddead on the floor like Shavers.
I read that someone was waving an AIR rifle out the window of his hotel room...I am not even sure it was him....stupid, poor choice in some cities—like Chicago or New York...but it was a AIR RIFLE IN ARIZONA for God’s sake...ARIZONA IS AN OPEN CARRY STATE...I would think possessing an AIR RIFLE and WAVING IT OUT A WINDOW it would be less of a big deal and certainly nothing to shoot SOMEONE WHO IS UNARMED FIVE TIMES!
Hope they sue the pants off the cop! then take his boxers too!
Outrageous. I showed this to some friends and they are cops. I was accused of “armchair quarterbacking.” Now, I am outraged
Well somebody has to quarterback, preferably from the field. But since that didn’t happen here armchair is better than nothing.
‘And I pray they always remember that advise rather than the cheap 2nd guessing of split-second life-and-death decisions as found in the replies I’m receiving.’
and you are receiving these replies because, as I said earlier, you are attempting to defend the indefensible; your advice to loved ones is all fine and well, but unless we are trained combatants, we are more likely to freak out first and get killed, and remember your advice second, when it is too late...
This x1000000
What the apologists seem to be saying is that it’s okay for the police to use the same ROE that we do in wartime - shoot if we “feel threatened”...
Actually for most of my deployments, we coudln’t shoot unless someone actually *took hostile action* - and that meant *shots fired*...not threats, not “reaching for their waistband”... It meant actual *shooting*.
Yes, while deployed in a combat zone, our ROE was that we couldn’t fire unless fired upon. They could ride right up to us, armed to the teeth, but unless they shot at us, we were to stand down.
So let me ask you this - if the cops get wartime ROE - where they can shoot if they “feel threatened”...
Who *exactly* is the enemy?
Let ‘em chew on that for a while.
