What the Heck Happened in Alabama?
American Thinker.com ^ | December 15, 2017 | Lloyd Marcus

Posted on 12/15/2017 10:03:16 AM PST by Kaslin

Years ago, my brother David gave me a nugget of wisdom. He advised, "When faced with a crisis, stabilize your emotions before responding/acting." Thus, I thought it best to wait a day or so before sharing my thoughts about Roy Moore losing in Alabama.

Moore's loss simply does not make sense. Alabama is a red state. It is hard to believe Alabama voters chose Jones, who supports killing babies even at the point of birth, over 38-year-old unproven sexual misconduct allegations against Moore. Yes, I smell the foul stench of Democrat voter fraud in the Alabama senate race.

We've heard the term partial-birth abortion, but most folks don't know what it is. The abortionist takes the entire baby out of its mother except for the head. He then shoves scissors into the baby's brain to kill it. Planned Parenthood is elated when abortionists can murder the baby without too much damage to the baby's head. Intact heads sell for premium prices. Jones supports this horrific evil.

Rather that believing Alabama voters knowingly chose a man who supports murdering babies and trafficking their body parts, I tend to believe fake news media successfully hid Jones' hostility towards unborn innocent human life. Leftists celebrate Jones' mindset because Leftists deem killing babies environmentally responsible; necessary to save the planet from too many humans. Step on a spotted frog and Leftists are outraged at you!

Like nothing we've seen before, Leftists saturated the airwaves, social media, and fake news media with 24/7 attacks on Moore, his wife and anyone supportive of him.

As Lloyd says, never give up the good fight. Remember the familiar Marine motto, ‘When the going gets tough, the tough get going.’ There will always be another hill to climb, the next battle to wage, another set back to overcome. So it is with being a warrior, as it is generally in life. It makes the victories and good times so much sweeter and enjoyable. Setting all this aside, in this season of hope we need to reflect on what is truly important, that all ends well.

Likewise.

We can pray; only God can turn around this mess, which is another reason why Roy Moore had to be defeated.

I am praying for justice and for the truth to be exposed. The crimes and corruption that are coming out now regarding the FBI, CIA, DOJ, etc are just a tiny, tiny tip of the iceberg. I’m praying that the WHOLE UGLY ICEBERG is pulled out of the water for everybody to see. That is the only way I see a majority of Americans siding with the truth.

A lot of people in the time of Hitler convinced themselves that the Holocaust didn’t happen. After the war those people were sent into Auschwitz, Buchenwald, Dachau, etc to see the evidence. They went in happy; they came out shell-shocked and weeping. That is what compelled a Nuremburg trial.

America needs a Nuremburg trial, but we’re only gonna get one if enough people are forced to walk through the crime chambers and see what has been wrought.

THAT is what I am praying for, as I try to take care of my family - casualties of all of this, I might add.

Once again, Mitch, is that you? Paul?

Neither of you have anything better to do today, than cover for the traitorous methods of the GOPe?

Perhaps it is just someone using the pseudonym of Alberta’s Child, issuing thoughtless idiotic defenses of the GOPe.

Either way, it’s just as disgusting.

I don’t live in Alabama.

I assume there are Protocols, Procedures and Laws that must be followed by State DMV Employees.

That sounds like quite a conspiracy theory, but it has no bearing on the Moore Election. Moore’s “base” did not turn out to Vote for him, simple as that.

You didn't even read my post, dude. I'm not disputing the 92% figure at all. I'm disputing your view of what exactly the 92% is actually measuring.

I'll leave you with this item to repeat what I said earlier in this thread:

Turning out 40% of your voters and then complaining about alleged "voter fraud" in an election you lose by 1.5% is about as pathetic as anything I've ever seen on FreeRepublic.

Democrat Voter fraud in Alabama ?
Not according to pm radio talkie Joe Paggs who insisted when responding to a caller inferred there aint no such thing as democratic election fraud in “blue state” Alabama berated and dismissed the hapless caller in yesterdays (12/14) show for suggesting such a thing.

In making those comments Paggs, in fairness is conservative and was one of the few talk hosts who brought out the year book episode but demonstrated his complete lack of knowledge of the election process which is controlled locally and only reviewed federally only months afterward if questions pop up..

Loyd Marcus touches on the destructive effect so called conservative talk show hosts had on the election result in his concluding remarks but too bad he didn’t go far enough .

If you’re counting on “national media presence” to fix the District of Corruption then you’re hopeless.

I'm not.

Donald Trump got national media recognition in 2016 -- and it was overwhelmingly negative.

I've seen estimates that it was the equivalent of having more than $2 billion in free advertising.

>>>AL law REQUIRES that the records be destroyed immediately?

No. Alabama law requires that paper ballots be retained for 22 months. The law says notbing about the retention requirements for the digital images of those paper ballots. The legislature has not addressed the issue of digital retention so the court could not step in and require it.

VOTER FRAUD

I can't recall his name at present, but the representative of Alabama's gerrymandered black congressional district a few years back left office and more or less turned somewhat conservative. He openly stated he knew there was voter fraud in his majority black district and said if fairly often.

The problem with much voter fraud such as ballot stuffing is that the election officials themselves are committing the fraud, and what and who will it take to prove that and prosescute the guilty?

I believe it said that Jones got 22 percent of the white Republican vote.

How do we know that Moore turned out 40% of his voters? If the election was hacked votes could have been deleted. The only way you’d know is if the exit polling and/or the actual voter signatures in the book contradicted the computer tally.

That is why it is so important to check. If there is election fraud, the numbers everybody uses are a lie. That’s the point. It is circular reasoning to say, “There was no election fraud because the results of the election explain this or that.” A 40% turnout by Moore, contrasted with a 92% turnout by Jones would explain the election results. But we have no way of knowing whether those numbers are real, or a result of fraud.

I think you are talking about a Rep. Artur Davis, but I saw Davis listed as a big Jones supporter. His switch to conservatism seems doubtful.

If it was that easy to “delete votes,” then Hillary Clinton would have won Alabama in 2016 — no?

Your after election assessments on Tuesdays election are some of the most unfortunate comments I’ve seen on this forum, by a person who has been here long enough to at least grasp part of Conservatism.

Up thread you said, “No wonder the Republicans didn’t back Moore.” I’m not sure if you were talking about leadership or simply run of the mill voters at this point but it astounds me either way how a Conservative could say that.

Evidently you think Jones was a much more reasoned candidate to vote for, if you can say those sorts of things with a straight face.

Abortion (late term)
Judicial nomination approvals (severely damaged)
Tax reform votes
Defunding of Planned Parenthood

Nope, you think it’s reasoned for Republicans at any level to abandon Moore.

Sick.

Does AL have a required retention period for records requested via Open Records laws - to ensure that anything a requestor may be entitled to see is not destroyed before it could be accessed?

A lawsuit requesting retention is basically the equivalent of a FOIA request, I would think.

I believe the final tally had Moore about 21,000 votes behind Jones.

The Republicans came up with a write-in idea about two weeks before the election.

That guy got over 20,000 votes.

I’m sure that Shelby’s robo-calls against Moore had at least some Republicans voting against Moore also.

Late term abortion
Judicial nominations
Tax reform
deFunding Planned Parenthood

Nope, they couldn’t think of a good reason to vote for Moore.

Sick.
