To fill their top spot on the House Judiciary Committee, Democrats had a choice between experts in two critical policy arenas: a constitutional law ace with firsthand experience battling President Trump, and an architect of sweeping immigration legislation.
By a wide margin, they chose the constitutional law expert. Why? To ready themselves for a battle with Trump that could end with impeachment proceedings.
The selection of Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) as the ranking member on Judiciary was the clearest sign yet of how seriously House Democrats consider the possibility of a full-blown constitutional showdown with Trump.
Democrats are careful to say that Nadler will not push too far or too fast on any impeachment proceedings. “He doesn’t rush to judgment about anything, very deliberative,” said Rep. Joseph Crowley (D-N.Y.), a friend of more than 25 years.
Such cautious statements aside, it’s hard not to conclude that Nadler was given his new job for a singular reason.
“It’s something I think he was made for,” Crowley said. “He’s at the right place at the right time and when we need him most.”

Exactly what do they claim to be their legal justification for impeachment? That they don’t like him?
Once the economy goes into overdrive, the Dims won’t have a prayer.
They accomplished ZERO in 2017, and many of their top names might be in jail in the coming months.

And that has been rejected.
If the GOP just follows Trump’s lead, they will gain many seats in 2018.

The Democrats have and are trying to pervert the justice system to a degree that ends with the law being whatever democrats say the law is, at any given time.
The rule of law is at stake in this country. All throughout society we see that the idea of “justice for all” has been completely compromised, leaving us on the brink of anarchy.

An impeachment vote is an indictment vote that a crime was probably committed.
In Clinton’s case, he was caught lying to a grand jury, a clear case of perjury.
They have no such case, not even a murky case against Trump. Fishing for such a case puts many Democrats at risk at losing power should their own criminal activity be uncovered.
So, ultimately this is a dead end.
However, it plays to their base who is growing weaker as the blue states lose population and influence.

I have no doubt that the democrats salivate daily over the mere thought of impeaching Trump. I once read that when Nixon won his election, the democrats immediately swore to take him out. With Nixon’s help, they did. Getting rid of Nixon deeply imprinted impeachment on their corrupt little minds ever since. It has become their default strategy for any Republican president.
They’re trying to drag Don, Jr. into the web of process crimes, hoping to hold that over his head. Doesn’t appear to be working, not quite as wiley as his dad yet but clearly a chip off the old block. Expect the family theme to continue. They may yet end up ensnaring Jared Kushner somehow, thereby hurting Ivanka. Who knows, they seem to be absolutely eaten up that Melania actually is the First Lady that they all pretended Michelle Obama to be. They may go after her, but that’s fraught with danger, she’s rapidly becoming very popular not just in the US but around the world. She’s got to be the single most strikingly beautiful female political figure to ever come into the public eye, and yes she is a political figure despite not being overtly political in her own endeavors as First Lady.
