WASHINGTON - A jailed Russian who says he hacked into the Democratic National Committee computers on the Kremlin’s orders to steal emails released during the 2016 U.S. presidential election campaign now claims he left behind a data signature to prove his assertion.
In an interview with Russia’s RAIN television channel made public Wednesday, Konstantin Kozlovsky provided further details about what he said was a hacking operation led by the Russian intelligence agency known by its initials FSB. Among them, Kozlovsky said he worked with the FSB to develop computer viruses that were first tested on large, unsuspecting Russian companies, such as the oil giant Rosneft, later turning them loose on multinational corporations.
Kozlovsky first came to public attention in early December when word spread about his confession last Aug. 15 in a Russian courtroom that he was the person who hacked into DNC computers on behalf of Russian intelligence. The Russian was jailed earlier this year, alleged to have been part of a hacking group there that stole more than $50 million from Russian bank accounts through what’s called the Lurk computer virus.
The alleged hacker posted to his Facebook page in December a transcript and an audio recording of his confession during a pre-trial court hearing. He also confessed online to having hacked investigators looking into the crash of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17, brought down in July 2014 by a missile near the disputed Ukrainian border with Russia.

Even if true, how does this effect an election? The whole thing still stinks like a Democrat.

That was my deduction after reading the article.
Putin is trying to not get all of his Establishment cronies in jail.
Assange says he did not get the emails he released from Russia. These are not those emails or this guy or Assange is lying.

It is doubtful if you can find one person who knows what was in the DNC emails. The emails that got more play were the Podesta emails, and they were not hacked, but phished, and that was by a method that would be child’s play with any high schooler.

False flag by the DNC, there was no hack, the files were downloaded by Seth Rich and given to Assage. Seth Rich was murdered for it.
If true, a hack still does not eliminate the possibility of an internal download by a staffer or other.
Let me get this straight. He was the premiere hacker for the FSB, got the DNC emails for them, now he’s being prosecuted in Russia for hacking and the Russians are letting him blab all about their exploits against the U.S.?

There were many reports that McCabe had people searching for an ‘actor’, meaning a real drama actor, to ‘confess’ in exchange for $3 million and blanket immunity.
These reports were posted here at FR and originated from Europe where witnesses to the scheme were revealed.
The idea was to build up a credible person to testify against Trump. After the plan for such a scheme was exposed, it went dark. Now with McCabe and his ring facing prison, it may be manifesting as a last-ditch attempt to sew doubt ad escape prosecution.
Another attempt was made inside Fairfax County Jail (McCabe territory) which housed Romanian Guccifer aka ‘Guccifer I’, extradited to the US in 2012 by Hillary the Psychopath and jailed since. McCabe’s minions were putting the screws to the guy gaslighting him 24/7, attempting to brainwash him into saying he was hacking at the behest of the Trump Campaign. Didn’t work.
