Obama was aided by the financial meltdown - McCain was actually leading in some polls at that point (might be another thing to investigate, BTW). But McCain wasn't a good candidate, anyway. Romney slapped Obama around the stage in the first debate, then went timid after that. Maybe he was threatened in some way? Who knows, but now would be an opportunity to find out.

Bizarre that the PDB was handed out daily to over 30 people. Its the most updated intelligence all of the USA's intelligence agencies produce. Why not just publish it in the Washington Post? Giving such wide access appears to be a way to coordinate info among conspirators.

I had no use for either of those ‘R’ candidates, both hacks. Trump is the only person I could have supported because he is the opposite of compromised DC politicians. Guess that’s why they tried their damndest to find some dirt on him. Having no scruples at all is not the surprise, especially after our years of dissecting the Clinton Presidency.
