Unstable Yale Psychiatrist Who Labeled Trump Unstable Recants Armchair Diagnosis by Jim Hoft
Anti-Trump Yale professor Dr. Bandy Lee told reporters she wants to “physically constrain” President Trump, evaluate him in constraints and then frogmarch him from office. Dr. Lee is worried though that it might come off looking like a like a coup!
Dr. Lee met with more than a dozen lawmakers last month to discuss President Donald Trump’s mental health.
But this week Dr. Lee recanted her diagnosis of President Trump. Breitbart.com reported:
Appearing on Midday Live with Dr. Drew and Mike Catherwood on TalkRadio 790 KABC in Los Angeles, Dr. Lee was forced to admit that other presidents, such as Abraham Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt, also had psychological profiles that would be “concerning” to her. She then allowed that she was not talking about “mental illness” when it came to President Trump.
Dr. Drew noted that it would be impossible for anyone to last through the presidency based on the standard Dr. Lee seemed to be applying.
As Dr. Drew pointed out several former presidents had mental health issues and were not removed from office.
John Adams and Teddy Roosevelt suffered from bipolar disorder. President Lincoln suffered from serious bouts of depression.
And Barack Obama negotiated with the Iranian mullahs!
At least 18 former presidents suffered from some type of mental illness.
Dr. Lee backtracked on her diagnosis. So who is the unstable one again?
The heat got to her.
Unethical, per the Goldwater Rule. The Dr. should lose her license.
I saw lawyers parachuting from the sky ... I bet she saw them, too.
She should lose her license for more reasons than just the Goldwater Rule violation. True psychologists spend a lot of time reviewing data and rely on peer reviews before making assessments like she did. She did it for political points.
This incompetent was caught up in the heat of the moment, and joined in the current fad that is saying that Trump is unfit for office. The left is going insane!

Okay, so the unlicensed doctor is making unethical diagnoses. It is apparently unethical to make diagnoses without actually seeing the patient. Further, she is unlicensed. Wonder if this helps her get her license back?
Psychiatrists, otherwise known as drug pushers, should not decide who is fit for anything.

She must be reprimanded and sanctioned for violations of ethics and best practices. She was using her license illegally for political opinion.she should be fired from yale immediately or they look like a political whore house.

Dr. Bandy X Lee does not hold a medical License in the state of Connecticut. It is in pending status. Her history is very odd and complicated. It is even more odd that Yale reports one thing on her biography and on google you get one hundred other stories. None of them seem to add up. Especially when it comes to her graduation date and medical licensure.

What people fail to realize is that the ethics standard itself does not govern the process of psychiatrists giving mental health opinions on public figures.
Goldwater went to court and won a judgement for libel and slander. The ethics standard was established as a guideline to protect psychiatrists from committing these crimes in the future.
The law still is the law, irregardless of what the ethical standards are.

The court found that the evidence introduced at trial proved the defendants knew they were publishing defamatory statements and “were motivated by actual malice when they published the statements.” The court found the defendants guilty of libel action based on the article Fact published.
