On a normal day, there arent many people heading to Google to figure out how to survive a nuclear strike. But Saturday was not a normal day.
Shortly after 2:30 p.m. Eastern, searches for how to survive nuclear peaked in the U.S., from being almost nonexistent to being almost twice as common as how to make pasta. The increase was centered in Hawaii, where about 90 minutes earlier, a warning had gone out over the states emergency alert system: BALLISTIC MISSILE THREAT INBOUND TO HAWAII. SEEK IMMEDIATE SHELTER. THIS IS NOT A DRILL.
You can see when that alert went out on this graph.
[SNIP] Tulsi Gabbard's tweet went out within about 15 minutes of the false alarm to her 174,000 followers. She was probably the first well-known authority figure to inform the public that there was no need to panic. News outlets picked up that clarification and spread it widely.
This, by contrast, was President Trumps first tweet after incorrect alert went out.
So much Fake News is being reported. They dont even try to get it right, or correct it when they are wrong. They promote the Fake Book of a mentally deranged author, who knowingly writes false information. The Mainstream Media is crazed that WE won the election!
Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) January 13, 2018
It was sent more than three hours after the alert went out. As you can see, it has nothing to do with the alert. Those who follow Trump on Twitter 46.6 million of them havent been given any information

Why wasn’t Gabbard’s ‘false alarm’ tweet 15min after the alert followed immediately by everybody else in power in HI?
Why did a big chunk have radio/internet silence for FORTY minutes?
> Please tell us just how Madame President would have handled it. <
I’ll field that one. President Hillary would have (in this order):
1. Retreated to an underground bunker.
2. Poured herself a stiff drink.
3. Called Huma for emotional support.
4. Made a rambling speech over the airways blaming Putin.
It doesn’t have to make sense. If it makes them feel good, it’s their personal truth.
Also Trump’s fault:
1. The Civil War
2. World War 1
3. World War 2
4. Climate Change
5. Jar Jar Binks
Trump didn’t tell these retards to do this.
But it is his fault that they did?
Trump’s fault is the new Bush’s fault.
Then of course the howl from the left of him making politics out of a possible disaster would have been screeched from the demoidiots rooftops.
Typical Washington Post - use it as an indictment of Trump.
In fact, its an indictment of the long-term lack of responsibility, laziness and lack of professional ethics of our massive nanny-state bureaucracy.
Let’s see if anyone (or group) be publicly examined, outed, shamed, or God-forbid prosecuted, for this grave mistake.
Trump show total restraint over this.
And they STILL complain!
So WaPo is blaming Trump for not resounding to the fake nuke alert. Why didn’t the authority in Hawaii that issued the fake alert tell people it was a fake alert?
Aren’t these the same people who complained about George Bush not running around like a chicken with its’ head cut off after learning of the planes hitting the WTC on 9/11?
Didn’t take long for them to blame it on Trump.
The timing involved suggests someone was intentionally playing the system
The time from an NK launch to impact would be about 38 minutes
The time from issuing this public alert to the HI State Govt rescinding it was 38 minutes
What a coinky dink
I wonder if they blamed Nixon for this?

I slipped and fell in the shower this morning.Trump did nothing to help.
With a bit of luck, an actual nuke attack on Hawaii will go wildly off course and take out the WaPo.
I told people last week that President Trump could cure cancer and the leftist media would say “Well how come he didnt cure heart disease”
I believe the democrats did this deliberately in order to see if he would launch a "retaliatory" strike against North Korea. When, in the aftermath it would be determined that the North Koreans had not launched anything, president Trump would be impeached for his reckless launch of nuclear missiles. They absolutely feel that he does not have the "temperament" to be president. This was a test of that temperament, but it didn't go as they planned.
I had that immediate thought. Let’s just say that the given explanation “raises more questions than it answers.”
You forgot the movie “Ishtar.”
