Harvey Weinstein made his assistant clean semen off the couch after his sexual encounters, according to a new lawsuit filed in Manhattan federal court. Sandeep Rehal, who worked at The Weinstein Company for two years between 2013 and 2015, claims she felt demeaned and terrified while working for the disgraced film mogul.
Weinstein even made the then-26-year-old type emails he dictated while naked, according to the suit.

Relying on research I did in 1998, we have a serious OSHA violation here.
Briefly: semen is classified as medical waste. Anticipated exposure to semen in the workplace requires employee to wear rubber gloves and either goggles or a facemask.
Further, a labeled container is required to deposit the semen and whatever was used to soak it up.
Aren’t Dems all for OSHA?

I would never let my daughter work for someone like that.
And she would not.
My daughter is in her late 20’s and is a manager in a multibillion dollar corporation.
But I would like to see people who act the way Weinstein does sued and prosecuted. I don’t care what his political connections are and how many high level people support him.
By the way, I think people like Meryl Streep, the Clintons and the Obamas still support Weinstein though they publicly say they don’t.

As you can tell from my posts, there is something about this that really bothers me (apart from the disgusting and illegal behavior of that scum Weinstein)
I believe people have choices unless you are literally (not figuratively) starving or being held against your will as a prisoner in a lawless place.
She was apparently an actress and wanted to get ahead, not a starving mom of three kids with no father and no job.
I denounce her and those like her who made that choice, damning women who follow in her footsteps to face that same quandary, as she moved forward into her acting career.
This wasn’t someone who was starving and homeless. This was someone who wanted to be rich and famous, and by God, she was going to do what she needed to get there.
It is called selling your soul.
Yes! Exactly, and her rationalizing that this was what she was going to do to get her foot in the acting business (instead of quitting and reporting this to the authorities) damned other women (and probably others of all ages and both sexes) to have to experience the same thing.
It makes me angry to consider. And now, she and others like her calling her some kind of brave hero, well, it doesn’t sit well with me.

If he is persona non grata with them, it is only because they can’t be seen supporting him, not because they would like to see him punished.
I have no doubt, none whatsoever that you would have heard Meryl Streep utter this in utterly gay tones (and big smiles) to her buddy Harvey at one of their chummy tony cocktail parties:
“Oh, Harvey. What poor thing have you had your way with on that old couch of yours in that musty Office lately?”
Next time, he should hire a queer. They would have loved to be in this situation.

No one can make you stay at a job that is demeaning. A month or two to find a new job, maybe. But two years? Give me a break.
What is it with people these days? I realize no one wants to lose a job, but come on. People are not powerless in such situations. How about just saying no? Record the conversation. Take pictures and blackmail the SOB. Or just walk out. Quit on the spot. The assistant is not a slave and most definitely did not HAVE to clean up such a mess. Take a picture, print it, then send it to every board of directors member. Make noise. The only reason such stuff happens is because people are cowardly and let it happen.

Boss would bring his two large dogs to work, and if they had the worst kind of “accidents”, we were supposed to clean it up. Once I rolled my chair into a steaming pile. Sometimes they’d have anal gland issues with odors bad enough to gag a maggot. Anyhow... I quit.
Boss never got naked, thank Heaven. He was gay, anyhow, so there was that. Listening to his phone conversations with his needy gold-digging “partner” was also quit-worthy.

Two of the most empowering things to ever happen to me was:
1) Getting railroaded and fired from a job.
2) Walking off right after I told the boss, “I QUIT”.
